How does your game fit the theme?
For “Fallen Burster”, we started with the genre and try to take out what is the control of that particular genre. After half day of discussion, we settled on Top-Down Shooting. To remove the control, Shooting game has 3 main controls : 1. Moving 2. Firing 3. Aiming. So we decided to remove moving and firing control out to give the feeling “Out of Control”. Then we came up with the kind of predictable rhythmic shooting to compensate those control. Even though the game is fully function; we hope that the player will still lose sense of control because of the unfamiliar control of the familiar gameplay.
