I really liked it, got to the dragon first go.

The turn speed really suffers once you get your light really large.  Considering how tight your rooms are and the lack of AI for most enemies I'd just stop the light getting more than 1 or 2 larger than the starting amount.  Also the scrolling text is a little annoying.

I hope you keep working on it.

I reduced the maximum torch from 9 to 7 and added 2MHz mode for C128. Maybe that helps.

I thought about different ways to inform the player about what's happening. Static text overwrite too fast and scroller was the only thing i could think of without giving too much screen estate to this information. If you have another idea, please let me know.

Maybe alternating lines instead the scroller could be a thing. Like, fading out the text, fading in the new line ... feels smoother and perhaps less distracting.
