Just In Case a LONG LONG Descriptione about the game so you dont get confused:

Controls:

Arrow Keys/WASD: Moving Player and moving Arrow in Main Menu and Pause

Arrow Keys (in Boss Fight): in phase 1 of the Boss you should Press The Arrow Keys Based on which arrow is falling in the arrow lines just Like Rhythm games.

Key Z (while in Collision with a Levels or Boss Door): Going onto The Level or the Boss that has its door In Collision.

Key X/Space (in Credits, Main Menu, Game Over and Scores Scenes.): the Accept Button.

Key X Pressing or Holding (For Player Mechanics.): Makes a Void Dash which is implemented for Hitting the Boss Fight in Phase 2 once the cooldown is happening or the Boss Flashes red which you have to hit using this mechanic, also implemented for speed boost and black skeletons that can be killed by the Void Dash (but since the skeletons arent here then the theme Blackout fits the Void Dash as a Player Mechanic atleast.)

Key X (in Phase 3 Of the Boss Fight): The Player Can Judge the Boss by Pressing The Button X if the Player Has More Numbers Than The Boss.

In Boss Fight:

Phase 1: you have to Press The Arrow Keys Based on which arrow is falling in the arrow lines just Like Rhythm games.

Phase 2: you have to Play Pong by watching out for the ball to not go down and after 3 hits of ball the ball hides like a cooldown so that the player has time to hit the boss on top right which means the ball is hit 9 times per 3 cooldowns to hit the Boss which then Goes To The Last Phase.

Phase 3: this is basically The Game And Watch Judge Game where if the player gets a bigger number than the Boss then the player should judge or press a button and if the boss gets a bigger number than The player Then The Boss Judges and you shouldnt press The Button X.

after that you defeated the boss fight!!

idk what to say about the levels since they are boring and had mechanics but i couldnt fix the objects that would make the levels fun so its my fault to not manage the time..

other than that thats the things you have to know before playing the game!

also a fun fact: I made The Games Art using Blender which the sprites resemble a donkey Kong Country style or Pre rendered sprites that were made for Old Consoles like SNES!! but again the boss has a prototype sprite which means that the boss and the backgrounds and etc.. also have pre rendered sprites but i cant do it for now because of reasons but the game will be fully updated after the game jam ends.

i also should say that the game has no bugs but theres some items i wanted to add but due to my bad time managing in game jams i couldnt add more but the boss fight is really fun so if you want you can just beat that since the levels 3 and 4 dont have a background and just not fun to play then theres no need for them..

AND Lastly:

DEV NOTES: the game was meant to have black or withered skeletons as a game enemy that turns the light off but its buggy and couldnt work so i just said that it will not be added for now and since the Theme of B-Jam is Blackout i couldnt set it up but the DarkHead which is a Game Object on the final Path of the 4 levels which when touched starts a Blackout to run back to start which i couldnt implement a dark blackout effect because im bad at time managment and cant risk late submitting.. but i will update the game after the game jam ends and learn to watch out for time management lol. and it also seems the browser version seems to be broken because of the fonts and files that idk how got like this so i suggest to download the Executable File because that is the working one for now..

UPDATE: i fixed The Browser version But if it Still Doesnt work then idk download the Executable File Instead but it works for me in Browser so no issue..
