I am a little confused as to how the timer and damage work. And i feel like shooting didn't always work.

The idea was good, but the implementation not so much, sometimes you have to wait for the laser to blast, and no one likes a waiting simulator, instead you shoul'd have done that the laser is not a helper, but a pain in the ass, sometimes you did that, so it's not a bad game, but it's also not a good one.

Definitely agree about the waiting part, I think the level design is the culprit. Admittedly I was quite short on time and should have put a bit more work on these to prevent situations like that. I had planned to have collectables  (eg a pickup that gives a second jump) that you might accidentally destroy which would have made for much better game play.

Thanks for playing and taking the time to give feedback!

Would be nice if the platforming was a little more forgiving. Natural instinct is to jump at the edge of a platform, but the delay in this game makes the character fall to their death.

Completely agree, this was pointed out in playtesting in the final half hour, and I decided not to try to fix it for the sake of time. In hindsight, I think it is quite a big deal and would have been worth changing and it wouldn't have even taken very long to address.
