Ughh i hate people who go around false DMCAing shit, i believe if the code isn't actually copyrighted you could report to itch as false DMCA, i wish you the best of luck with this :3
Kol would have to provide proof that it is actually his code and the document stating he can keep the IP and the rights. I think this is another episode of Itch taking down a game without proof of wrongdoing.
