Is it false though? He said he's rewriting the code so i'd assume the DMCA was truthful. Now how code copyright works i have no clue
Kol would have to provide proof that it is actually his code and the document stating he can keep the IP and the rights. I think this is another episode of Itch taking down a game without proof of wrongdoing.
