Clever idea with a solid execution! Lining up the jumps was tricky, but I really felt like I accomplished something when I finally made them. The only problem I had was that I got stuck on a roof a few levels in. I was trying to take a shortcut, but I lost the ability to jump the moment I landed. I guess that's what I get for trying to cheat ;)
