Honestly, works great! Artwork is sweet and fit the game idea well. Controls are perfect, rescue ship works great for me. Also, the ships avoid collisions very well, good job!

The only issue i had: There was a collision on the far left corner of my screen which i could not prevent, they crashed before i could see them. If you can do something about that, it could be helpful. (although not a big deal, happend once)

If you have the time, you could consider adding some fog maybe? Fog could increase in intensity as the time progresses.

Hey, @ChillZombie, would you mind playtesting my game, https://ab20real.itch.io/untitled-space-scroller

It doesn't have a name yet, so any suggestions are welcome

I just tried it! It looks nice, could definetely be fun, but the controls make it hard to get in a flow.

If the ship would always go forward, and you could use the scroll wheel to switch between moving forward and moving back, it might be easier to get into.

Also, the shooting with the middle mouse button is a bit unpractical, maybe switch to left click, space key, or something.

Thanks for you feedback! Will definetly improve on the controls as mentioned in the post https://itch.io/t/6524014/me-with-a-laptop-touchpad-?before=3#post-16357300

Those corner collisions have been the bane of my existence ever since I finished the first functional build. Hopefully I'll find a way to fix them. Thanks for the feedback!
