Well, fine lol. If I still feel strongly about it in 4 years I'll just post it in the next jam and like PRETEND it's new lol

i do not understand the implication that you need this particular jam format to publish a manifesto. if, as you said, the people need to hear your thoughts, then what are you waiting for? just write it now! you don’t need this jam to do it!

i see you’re mostly a TTRPG person; if you’re desperate to participate in a jam, there is an unaffiliated TTRPG manifesto jam running right now until september if you want to take part in that.

I wasn't going to say anything, but I saw that blog post where you (I think it was you?) said you had some manner of bad interaction with "a bunch" of ttrpg people (which ftr im actually mostly not one (I mean, once in a while...) and im puzzled on how you got that impression) and I was curious what you were talking about. Something about them thinking the jam was only for videogame stuff? Cause the vibe i got is that the intent of the jam was more flexible than that. I dont have context. Did this happen on bluesky? I dont use bluesky (thats why im posting this on itchio lol)

Anyway i hope i wasn't weird to you, I was just running my mouth i guess. I didnt mean anything by it, sorry if I was rude.

Also, ill write a manifesto if I fucking feel like it, gosh

i am mostly a bit put off by your weirdly exasperated way of interacting with my responses (yes, you were indeed being weird to me). i do not care to comment here on what happens on social media, though it seems you mostly got the right impression.

wishing you the best in your manifesto-writing journey, or not writing journey!

Honestly I think the best takeaway I had from the Manifesto Jam was trying to immediately get to work to publish other creative things while riding the high of the energy from the jam. So if you have something percolating inside you I think it's best not to wait! Just publish it!

If you do make a manifesto outside of a Jam, I may look out for it.
