The controls are nice and smooth and well designed abilities. Only note is the chest in the middle appears to be protected, so there isn't really a need for the put banana in box timer (feels like it slows down replay). Timer on pickup is good though. Tough game and pretty fun, thanks! :)
The intro at the beginning was great. Having a reason to play given upfront was important to me. The field of view felt pretty limited, which made the gameplay really difficult. You had to react almost instantly the moment something appeared on screen. Congrats on finishing the game!
Caught on the last banana :(. Interesting game idea, and moderately difficult
I had fun playing the game! Tho it was scary for me when the enemy suddenly appears, but i find it interestingly challenging. Pixel visual and the story are great too. Good work!
Really fun game! It was a bit too challenging for me as I couldn't complete the first level. But I really liked how it looked and the vibe! Keep up the good work!
I like the simple game idea. Played quite a few rounds with Snoopy.
The challenge is real though ... too tough for my taste!
What about making the enemies a bit slower? Or have the light go farther. You could even think about having no shadow at all, but a higher number of varied enemies in return. Pac-Man anyone? =)
I was thinking about pacman while making it :) maybe i should increase the light
Made it to 1000 AD! Cool art style, the background music sets the mood nicely, and the time-mechanic ties really well into the theme. The sound effects felt a bit loud relative to the music — maybe just a tweak away from balanced. Solid entry, good luck in the jam! 🍌
It was quite difficult towards the end, but I really like the game. Great concept and polish. Good job on the storytelling as well!
Great design and cool storytelling. The gameplay is decent, but the end is very difficult. I made several attempts, but I kept getting thrown back every time. A bit more brightness and less tension would be good, as it feels like a bit much for such a cute game (or was that intentional?)
