Truly... Horrifying. Took me a second play to figure out there was more to the game. Love it. Very silly very scary. Overall 10/10 experience and WILL be playing until I beat it.

Awesome setup! The beginning reminded me a bit of berry bury berry so I was not expecting a full on horror game. I will say, I was also confused at first. I just kept starting and watering the flowers over and over. I had to come back to the comments to check what to do until I read how to start the actual game. It is a cool twist though. I like it!

Maybe after 1 or two plays, you should remove the play button from the main menu and only the quit button remains. Then the player will be forced to start the game.

Developer

MMMMMM that's a good idea. Really good feedback I appreciate it so much. Yes I understimated peoples endurance to keep playing the same loop over and over lol. Ig letting them keep doing that would be lore accurate but game design wise I should prevent that lol. Thank you for playing!

I like that weirdcore atmosphere

Developer(+1)

Thank uuuuu! I lowkey tried to aim for a different aesthetic, but then that aesthetic ended up having similarities to liminal spaces and weirdcore and I'm seeing other comments mentioning it. The way I worded it kinda makes it look like a bad thing but nah I'm glad people see it that way cuz I like that aesthetic too.

This flower game is very startling. Nice touch with the flowers blending in with one another. The weirdcore / dreamcore atmosphere is great!   The (maze portion)   map could be smaller though and reducing the pieces to find to 6-8    would be appreciated.

Developer(+1)

Oooooh u riteeee. I see the wierdcore. I appreciate the feedback too very valuable. Thank uuuuu

Really clever with a horror twist and strong atmosphere

Developer

Ayueee thank uuuu

Submitted(+1)

I don't get it.

Developer

sigh.... I fear your comment is really usefull feedback. If u wanted to by chance play again and get it try not to use ALT F4 for no specific reason.

Submitted(+1)

Pretty fun concept, the twist was creative and well executed and the art style really sells the first section of the game. Nice work!

Developer

Yayyyyy thank u so much for playing!

Really cool game! I love the art style of the game, very fitting and unique with this type of game. It was very simple and fun to play. However, some people might have issues at the start of the game, so I kind of recommend to have like a short play through of it, since some people might not be able to figure things out right away! Overall, a very nice game!

Developer

Yesssuh another person like the art. I appreciate the feedback too, I value the info fr. Thanks for playing!

Hey! Loved the game! My favorite parts was watering the plants! It is crazy how such a simple game can be so much fun! Maybe next time I would add more flower!

Jk..

Loved the twist. You nailed the "fake cozy game but its actually horror" at the begging of the game, and I feel the twist with the quit button was executed perfectly.

As for the game itself, I can see a slenderman inspiration. Even if these are not my types of games, I can see it did all it needs to do perfectly. Good job!

Developer

Loooooool. Thank u thank u I'm glad the twist worked, and glad u enjoyed even though it's not your type of game!

Submitted(+1)

I really enjoyed the art style on this one.

Developer

Ayueee thank you so much! I liked it too but was worried cuz some people didn't rock with it as much as I did. Glad u like it too

Just played it! Very cozy and relaxing experience. I love how intuitive the objective is right from the start — no hand-holding needed, just pure gameplay. It's a nice, short session that doesn't overstay its welcome.

If you decide to expand this in the future, adding a progress bar or a specific goal (like "water X flowers within Y time") could really boost the sense of accomplishment. Also, a quick note: the 'Exit' button didn't seem to work for me (Alt+F4 saved the day). Solid entry, keep up the good work!

Developer(+1)

Heh... You were supposed to.... nevermind. That's good feedback, I appreciate you for playing!

Haha, now you've got me curious! Did I miss some secret ending or a hidden interaction? I'd love to know what that was supposed to be. I actually have a secret in my own game too, but some players already figured it out and started talking about it, so the magic is half-gone now! 😄 Anyway, thanks again for the fun game, it was a blast!

Developer(+1)

Lool yes you did miss something but it was not supposed to be really secretttt. Nah but you missing it is reallyyyy good feedback for me. If you wanted to play again maybe jus don use Alt F4 to quit cuz the quit button does work😉 Lowkey intrested in trying to find the secret in your game now too but I gotta rate all the rest of these games in this community post lol. Perhaps after. Still again thanks for playing lol

Submitted(+1)

lmao, I really didn't get it at first and was confused by all the horror comments. I just kept rewatering the flowers and thought that was the end of it. But noooo. I don't know if there's a way to win the game, but I almost wish there wasn't lol. I really think you could turn this into a bigger game if you wanted to. I do love a maze game. I liked the audio but it turned repetitive after a point, which could be another layer to the horror but something to think about. And I personally would like more of a cozy animation style, maybe not so realistic looking, but that's just me. Loved the twist tho, u got me, haha

Developer (1 edit)

We was lowkey playing each others games at the same time kinda lol, thank you for your feedback. Feedback is gold I appreciate ittt!

Edit: Also yes you can beat the game I jus tried to make it hard to. But maybe it's too hard we'll see. Also, I kinda like the repetitive audio in the beginning because it reflects the repetitive task and the feeling of being trapped in an endless loop, but I could also see it being annoying. Mayhaps change in future

Hahaha, yuup. I went back to my page and saw your review after I was done w yours.

I knew what was probably coming and it still got me... sigh

Well done!

Developer

Looool thanks for playing

Nice simple but effect indie horror concept, I could tell what kind of game it was going to be just from the covert art, haha.  Definitely got me, very well done!

Developer(+1)

Ayuee appreciate it, thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

That's a good bait and switch. I do wish you had warned me before making my ears bleed lol

A bit too hard to protect yourself in the tight corridors, would also be good to have some assets spread around so you don't end up going in circles

Developer

Loool noted noted thanks for playing!

OMG I thought this was gonna be a very simple water the flower game but I LOVE the bit of horror you threw in there. Very liminal, very old ps2 vibes.

Developer

Yayyy thank u so much! I'm glad you liked it!

Submitted(+1)

very liminal  absolutely love the little flower bud and the premise/concept! flowers are infinatee

Developer

Ayueee my first comment, glad you liked! U rite, I see the liminal.
