Great storytelling, I liked the mini games (especially the space shooters one), the import/export save feature, and the different potion outcomes based on performance. Nice, focused game loop with replayability (what potion will I get next?) The stirring one had a bit of a learning curve compared to the others so that was a nice challenge. Great job!

Thank you so much for your kind feedback :)

Honestly, probably perfectly scoped for a jam game. The implementation  was really tight and all the mini games had the right amount of charm (I really liked the laser one). Really great job!

Thank you so much for playing!

I love this game! Really interesting mechanics, specially the laser and mixing the ingredients, well done!!

Thank you so much!!

I really like how the text conveys a sense of a bigger world. This idea of a super bureaucratic space druid guild rocks. The ingredients names, the mechanics and their explanations, the seriousness on the silliness. Chef's kiss!

Developer

I'm glad you liked that 🙈

it's a good polished game imo. Even if you focused on the tutorial, it helped to understand what to do and it is important. I like the three different mechanics and steps involved for brewing, good job!

Thank you!!

Pretty good game. Got S+, A, and S+ first time then S+, S, S+ second time.

Art looks nice. And the music fit well with the space story.

The laser mechanic is new to me. I don’t think I’ve played a game with positioning the two end points before. It works pretty well. Though the spawns affect the score a lot. I wonder if a circular track would work better to make it work. Or some way for the computer to calculate minimum lasers. Or maybe just make the fruit float around a bit to make timing even more of a factor.

The only thing I think tripped me up was that the stirring minigame didn’t add spins for left over inertia after running out of fuel, but with the current score threshold it doesn’t matter too much.

Overall interesting minigames and a good start for more!

Developer

Thank you very much for the thoughtful feedback! The idea of having the fruit float around is genius, I'll definitely see to implement that when the jam is over :) And good catch on the spins count bug. Tbf that last game has the least amount of polish because I was running out of time T_T I have a few ideas on how to tweak it. Thanks for playing!

One of the most polished games I played so far in the game jam. Very cool and especialy the laser cutting game was nice. I hope you will add more level in the future. Only thingI could imagen, that the stir part might get boring after a few rounds.

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm sure it is noticeable that the last minigame is the most rushed one, I have a few ideas already on how to make it more fun :)

  • I don't like how the all-seeing cherries are looking at me
  • Neat, I like the laser chopping minigame
  • Pixel art on the rocket game is very nice

Final report card:

  • Zapping: 7.98s, Junk 0
  • Lasers fired: 5
  • Ladle spins: 20

I liked it, good work!

Thank you so much for trying it! The all-seeing cherries will haunt you for a little while still
