What should we do for web builds? Should these be the original submissions, or can they have (non-critical bugfixes and/or content) updates? I ask, because I imagine if there's a browser version available, that's the version people will play and rate, and you can't see the build version in the file name like you would on a file download.

Web build should be the og submission, but small bugfixes or fixing experience-breaking glitches should be fine - Joel will be playing through windows builds.

I have a new build for Thumbarrage (not uploaded yet) with some difficulty/experience adjustments, such as:

  • There was a bug on the HTML5 where players could select "Continue" skipping the intro
  • Changed gravity for better air control
  • Repositioned some enemies a bit for hopefully better level design
  • Changed the final boss vulnerable sprite for better indication
  • Added the option to hold the button to polish the head instead of having to constantly spam it
  • Extended some of the platforms to make certain sections less frustrating

I want to make these changes for both the HTML5 and Windows builds, should I make these on a post-jam build or would these be fine to replace the current builds?

Just to be safe - Upload the new build as a seperate post-jam zip. Web build can be updated with the specified changes till tomorrow.

Thank you! I have only updated the windows build as a separate post-jam download, will update the HMTL5 after the voting period ends
