"Split" the ZIP files for WIN/MAC games?

Hello everybody, and sorry for the "stupid" (maybe?) question!

The rules of the jam say that the developers who want to create a WIN/MAC game must upload the files in a single ZIP, but we are currently making a game that is quite heavy (we use a lot of images, videos and so on...): it would be perfect if we could simply divide the executables in two different ZIPs with the same game!
Is this a sort of "infringement" of the rules?
Thank you very much in advance!!! :D

i think they mean have the game itelf in a single zip. you can do both in one if you want but id recommend having a win one and a mac one.

See, this worries me, because mine is almost 800MB for Windows and it will be uploaded as a single ZIP file to MEGA and Google Drive and linked on the page... but I can't directly upload it to itch.io because of the 500MB limit T_T I'm confuzzled!

did you make sure to optimize your assets. it sounds to me like you used uncompressed images and sounds for everything.

I wouldn't know tbh, I'm not all that savvy! T_T haha. I used WEBM and OGV for videos, OGG for BGMs and SFX.... It is just a demo for a really big project though so it's not like I could just stop working on it and leave it in a weird state where a random route was only half finished or something T_T

Oh I didnt know you used videos in yours, not much can be done about that.

I see, I probably should've made a special version without video stuff then >.< I'm a complete noob haha,it wouldn't have surprised me if you'd told me I'd got it all terribly wrong! Haha.
