Grazie mille! Speriamo di poter realizzare presto altri esperimenti simili ♡

Thank you for playing our experiment and for your kind words! <3

Second ending hint: try pressing the space bar in different moments of the game, maybe near some... objects: things could change ;)

EATOR reminded us of the great Sussie from The Amazing World of Gumball! ❤️
Incredible project, description and result!

thank you very much for your support!

Thank you soooooo much for your comment! it took more than 430 single photos! the complete process was something like this: we made a video in real life, then we used the camera to take photos step-by-step from it and finally we compressed and massively imported all the images in GDevelop. Now we would just have the energy to sleep like the person in the jam thumbnail ahahah <3

ok, we have finally found some time to work on the project, and this is the weird set we prepared  to create our stop-motion photographic fake-3d  FMV street/corridor:

we made a video in real life with a smartphone, then we decided to take many photos (~ 420 frames! sic!) from the video using a polaroid snap touch, and then we tried and found a way to upload the “screenshots” massively in the engine we are using [GDevelop] (more on this method later on another post maybe!). in our theory this will let us recreate the feeling of a first-person  exploration, starting from consecutive still images! stay tuned for news and thank you for your time <3

Thank you for your words! We're so glad that you enjoyed it! Yeah, maybe time made the game even more nostalgic: 6 years have passed since the first release, and the world changed so much... We really hope to feel another spring like that, another season of utopia and possibilities :)

Thank you Ludipe for hosting this  jam, great idea! We are working on a crazy concept that we hope to convert into a short playable thing: our personal way of being unproductive will consist in making a game that simulates a 3D first person view, but every frame of the game will be made from photos taken in real life with a digital polaroid, and  players will perceive it  as a seamless exploration in a three-dimensional virtual world (or, at least, we hope so)! will we ever manage to  make something like this? Stay tuned if you're intrigued, 'cause we're planning to use this thread to post updates, photos and other curious stuff from the creative process! And many, many thanks to everyone of you for your attention! <3

“Calm, see me” is a playable prose poem, a personal reflection on loss, both hypotetical and real.
This game is a little gift intended to be played by those we love.
Thanks to our family for all the support and the drawings that appear in the game.

Content Warning: loss, absence, grief.

[The HTML version of the game embedded in the page is complete and free. The payment is only needed to support us, add the game to your personal library and access the Windows/Mac/Linux builds (and maybe some extra surprises in the future!). Thank you! ❤]

so glad that we managed to make you laugh and smile! thank you for your comment! :D

thank you!!! we really appreciate your kind words <3

the atmosphere of this seems to become more and more unsettling as you read... looking forward to trying the future possible playable version of it!

the theme, the graphics and the story give a deep, particular atmosphere to this concept
if you are planning to release it as a playable game, we really can't wait to try it!

Also, creating a font requires a lot of time and effort, so great job with that! <3

Heartwarming, to say the least! ❤️

Heartwarming, to say the least! ❤️

is there some extra space, so that we can move to Shaketown too? ^^ thank you in advance for the info! ;D

watch out, that ladybug is  dangerously cute! *-*

Thank you so so much, but lately we don't have much free time either, sadly :( Good luck with all your projects!!! <3

Fantastic! i'm just trying to find some wordplay with Earthbound and plants... Earth Buds? Those could be little plant-creatures in the game hahaha <3

AAAAAAAAH, this looks incredible! the story is really nice, too! thank you for creating it! :D

Cool gifs! Did you use a game engine to create them? We hope to play the game one day! ;D

Discover our fintogioco [made-up italian word for ‘faux-game’], imagined during the Game Mockup Jam (hosted by Hairic Lilred) and somehow inspired by its third optional theme: “We are in 3d, but actually it's all just cleverly painted”.

Dr. Trompaloglio and the disorientating case of Feick Thrydee is a non-existent first-person 3D hidden object adventure about the weird story of an art critic and his obsession for a mysterious author of three-dimensional Trompe-l'œil paintings.

Read more on this concept here: https://fintopiccante.itch.io/dr-trompaloglio

Thank you for these words! They mean a lot, really! Yes, we totally agree with you: as we were working on the idea, we noticed the points of connection with Superliminal, even though one of our favourite examples of perspective puzzles we had in mind is Tale of Scale, by Rat King (it should be still available on Kongregate if you want to try it)!

Also, yes we would like to keep existing art, ideally using some of those old and very complex compositions full of figures, objects, etc.
The idea of mixing the story of paintings and works of art with the story of Dr. Trompaloglio is great, thank you again for everything <3

These gifs are wonderful! Love the way you animated the trees and the battle scene! Also, the story make us want to play it right now! :D

we agree with everyone else here, great idea! ^^

wow, thank you so much! we hope to work on the idea in the future, somehow, who-knows-when! thank you for your support, it really means a lot <3

hey, this is a nice concept! good to see such a new and original idea! :D

bitsy is one of the best things happened to video-games in the last century *-* if you'll ever make a playable bitsy adventure with this concept, know that you have already earned (at least) 2 players! :D

we always love some hybrid tamagotchi-style game with elements from other genres etc.! <3 You know what would be great too? Imagine if, during the night, you had to deal with problems caused by your errors during the day (so if you are making mistakes in the food minigame, that night your pet will haunt you with specific challenges, ...)!

Interesting! :D Is the palindrome title suggesting that the game will start and end in the same way?
*-*

love the idea and the doodle! :D

RPQuiz! Or RP-Gimmetherightanswer! RPGuesstheanswer! ... ok, really sorry for the terrible jokes ;(

a day in the life of a cicada! ;) great idea!

stunning! seeing the running business mancat reminded us of the silly Tomena Sanner (that had rhythm-based sections at the end of each level, if we remember correctly!) :D

also, that logo is perfect ^^

fishing minigame = masterpiece <3

love the art style!

we love this kind of adventures! the art style is great, it would be wonderful as a multiple-choices game (with elements of inventory management etc.) or as a first-person 2D/3D hybrid experience! ^^

love the fact that the focus is more on puzzle-solving and exploration! this concept looks incredible! :D

yes! we all need more skating games, thank you for creating this! ❤️

also, Radcula is an incredible name :D

would love to play a game like this, an adventure made of tiny little maps floating in the air but all connected together! :D
