How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
The game is about farming in a field to earn money and protect the farm. The chair allows you to unleash your power and use the scarecrows more effectively. If you don't go to the chair before night you will get a debuff so be careful.
What tools and 3rd party assets did you use?
Godot, VSCode, Aseprite
How did you use generative AI? (If you did)
I used GPT to help me code some trivial mechanics and repeated tasks. The title and a few assets were made with AI too.

I was not able to run it and the browser and when download the windows version too. It would not open.
Oh do you have any logs or errors when you try it in browser (Also check inspector) or Windows?
No, the tutorial side shows up, but I can't get the whole game to show up in the browser. In the windows the game will open a somehow transparent window and disappear.
Oh that is probably a resolution issue in browser, I made the game 1920x1080. My mistake. Can you try to zoom out (Ctrl + mouse wheel down)?
Wow! Very ambitious! Would have been curious to see what it would have looked like with a little more time. I don't think I could have built something this extensive in 2.5 days haha
Thanks! With more time I would definitely have focused on the UX and added SFX, VFX and music.
Really nice game! Great job!
Thanks!
It's actually a pretty ambitious project to implement all of theses features with only one dev in 2 & 1/2 days to be honest. Good job to make it at this point. Took a bit of time to understand yes, but I could see the potential. I had some trouble at the night, outside of the scarecrow (which costs a bit too much in my opinion) it seems like fighting was really hard so I just kept running again and again. Also I had some bugs with the QWER sometimes.
Clearly not a fan of using AI to generate art, I can understand it is hard on time in a game jam, but it is part of the challenge.
Yeah I am against AI generated art too but since it was a jam done in 2 days I thought it would help me a lot and it did. At least to envision what I designed. About the price of scarecrow, I didn't really had time to balance but I thought it would be interesting to explore more options like consumables or just being mechanically good, so I nerfed the price. Thanks for the feedback!
I love the overall design, keep it up :)
Thanks!
Heeey, noticed some people had trouble understanding how to play the game so here are a few additional tips and general information:
- RTFM (Most of the mechanics are written in the tutorial text. I don't really expect people to read it though. Sorry again couldn't properly work on the UX)
- VERY IMPORTANT: The first field that you unlocked is the one at north west. You can unlock the other ones at the terminal upgrades.
- Crops need to be watered twice. If not watered in time, they can rot.
- You need to be at range to cast a spell (including day QWER Left Click, night aggressive R and some of the items) so if nothing happens when you cast something, try to bring yourself closer to the target. For example, you need to left click at close range to use the terminal to buy items you need.
- Read the description of each item or upgrade. The most important items are Soil, Seed and Scarecrow. The most important upgrades are Chair and Scarecrow.
- Reaching the end of the night kills all the remaining monsters.
- One day/night cycle = about 3 min. If you don't have anything left to do during the day, you can always skip to night using the button at the top right corner.
Scarecrows have 3 different states:
- Unpowered: static, normal stats
- Linked: Blue HP bar, in range of the chair, buffed stat
- Powered: Yellow HP bar, press F to power a Linked Scarecrow and D to unpower one, can interact with your spells
Enjoy! If you have any questions, please ask!
Very cool! I was able to run it in the browser.
Hey there, I'm having problems running this game from the browser, would it be possible to have a Windows build?
Hello, yep working on it! I am having some issues too so you should be able to run in browser correctly soon.
Patched the web version, I highly recommend to play it with fullscreen on. Will upload soon the Windows version soon. Enjoy!
