A great example of an idle game. Although the art is simple, it fits perfectly, and having the bamboo evolutions add points to skills from other trees makes you inclined to find those other bamboos in the first place! It does get a bit repeptitive, what with mostly only clicking two buttons until you unlock the automatization, but I guess that's the point of an idle lol

Good idea! An idle version could be better, since repeatedly clicking gets tiring
Really Cool Art and simple concept, was hard to understand at first that bigger bamboo need more hits with no upgrades, skill tree is a nice addition which I thought was nice, really enjoyed playing this simple but super clean game, this would be a nice mobile game in my opinion! Very solid.
Some extra thought:
- think a quick time event with different spawn locations on screen with a timed button press would add some more engagement for the longer cool downs, which could add a full line attack with crit attack if timed succesfully
- Also the skill tree when on it stops the bamboo from continuing its growth which is a little annoying
Love it :) A simple yet adictive game that works from start to finish.
The game fits the theme well, and I genuinely like both the visuals and the core mechanic: you have to create a target for yourself and destroy it at the same time. That said, in terms of gameplay, it mostly comes down to pressing two buttons with a fairly long cooldown, which does not feel especially engaging. Still, the theme is clearly explored, and the game works without bugs, which is already a solid result.
