Good concept , vampire survivors like (but no exp)

Good job. But i think it's very difficult to move and attack.

While I like the concept you're going for, the game just turns into a constant clicking with no strategy to it, which can be a bit painful on the wrist. The art is cute, and the UI does what it needs to do, I just feel like there should be a better difficulty curve, alongside some sort of leveling up system where leveling actually upgrades stuff about your character.

Got 107 kills 🙌 The horde got me sadly. Would be great to have skill tree or some additional perks. Anyways, well done!

interesting concept! I like the idea of an actual arena, maybe in a colosseum-style, roman-empire kind of way. you could have a crowd cheering for you as sound, gladiators and different stage designs... just some ideas! :)

Good game! It would be even better with some kind of upgrade system, artifacts, or new weapons. You could also add auto-attack or allow attacking by holding the button.

I enjoyed the animations and effects on impact. The difficulty curve starts pretty early in the game and I found myself just clicking constantly, not strategically. it's a good concept for a one week game jam!

The game feels good to play, and the sword swing animations and enemy death effects give the action a satisfying sense of impact. It comes across as a kind of Vampire Survivors with manual control.

If I were the developer, I would think about how to deepen the combat mechanics, make the enemies more interesting, and define more clearly what the game is supposed to become on a larger level.

There is also the same issue I have seen more than once in this jam: the difficulty curve is too abrupt. Almost from the very first seconds, the number of enemies already becomes overwhelming.

Developer

Growth is a double-edged sword.

In this chaotic Melee Arena Survival game, you start as a tiny warrior in a cramped arena. Every enemy you strike down feeds your power, making you stronger, reaching further... and growing physically massive.

But there's a catch: the bigger you get, the slower you move and the easier you are to hit. Can you balance your newfound might, or will you become Too Big to Fail?

⚔️ Features

  • The Growth Curse: Every level-up increases your sword's reach but makes you a massive target.
  • 4 Enemy Types: Slime, Ghost, Zombie and Skeleton
  • Retro Arcade Feel: Crisp 16*16 pixel art and a high-stakes endless survival loop.

🕹️ Controls

  • WASD / Arrow Keys: Move
  • Left Click : Attack (Sword)
