Simple but very fun game, and also a looker. The only "problem" I had was the music, the loop got old very fast, but thats a small issue. Definetely one of my favs so far. Nice work.

I went down with the ship! I had no idea what i was getting into. I shot a tentacle, evaded some rocks, plotted a path, but died too soon. This was pretty cool. Thanks for the game!
oh wanted to say i love the dithering on the graphics. the game lagged a bit but i think that just happens on the html5 build sometimes. it only happened when i was doing something, like something new was being added to the level, like a cannon ball or tentacle, then it ran buttery smooth.
YO hooooooooooo hoooooooo!
I like this idea and killing monsters, idk why but your game lagged a bit too on the Web. But still with this 10/10 great job! Great: gameplay, idea, pretty visuals, sfx
The main idea and the monsters are super supe cool and i really liked the game loop, but in the other hand the music is too much, I think this would have been amazing with some ambient effects, instead of the music, i think it was a missed opportunity, but overall this was really good, one of the best for the games for the jam! great work!
Really like the game. I struggled a little with understanding that the cannon balls are not in every chest but this was a fun game and I really liked the audio cues on this. It made it so I knew what was going on even though the map was so dark. Liked the atmosphere of the game and everything seemed to go well together.
I like the visual style of the game. It was quite simple and quite fun, but I was a bit lost on the theme's incorporation. I assume it's the lanterns turning off? Them "Eroding" over time and needing to be turned back on? That's just a guess, though, as it was not really obvious how it was incorporated.
I can really see the Iron Lung inspiration with the map and limited vision, though. Really great project you've put forward here, I'm excited to see what's next.
>> I found on the web client that I experienced some pretty heavy lag spikes initially, where the game completely froze, but it seemed to die down over time. I assume this is because the loading time of things had been cached and thus did not freeze the game to load in.
>> Some minor rubber banding was also experienced.
>> Although it's in the game's description, I feel it would have been nice to be told about the mechanics in-game. Such as controlling the ship, turning the lanterns back on and how to find the cannonballs. It made the first play-through a little rough.
Overall: Really fun little game, and I'd love to see more projects. The dithering graphics are probably my favourite part of this project.
