I like the general idea. Surprised to see it a second time. There's a similar entry. I liked the lo-fi music and I think the art was well done. Sadly, I had some bugs where closing out of the bouquet arrangement would result in no scene being loaded, which left me staring at unity's blue backdrop. I restarted in those instances. Settings and Options do nothing. Some customers mentioned a price limit, but I couldn't see any clear communication of flower prices.
Still a solid effort!

Thank you for the compliments! Yes, unfortunately, due to some time constraints, some bugs were not able to be ironed out prior to the submission deadline. We intended to remove the "Close" button on the bouquet arrangement page as it was only meant for testing purposes. The Settings and Credits tabs were initially going to have something, but again, time constraints prevented us from implementing those in! We will definitely keep your suggestions in mind, especially regarding the price limit as we realized there is no clear indication of flower prices in the final build! Thank you for your feedback! :D

i would have liked it more if it had an ending, it was nice hearing the customers stories

We actually have several endings in the game files themselves but couldn't manage to implement it due to time constraints :(. I'm glad that you enjoyed the customers stories though!

Thank you for the feedback. We had the ending art ready but unfortunately due to time limit couldnt use em at all :(( I'm glad you liked the customers stories tho.

I am not sure if it was because i bugged something out or not but just the same characters kept coming back asking for the same thing again and again, but if it was intentional then I do think a vaguely progressive storyline is a much better fit for this type of game. Also seeing how some characters do mention coins that was probably a skipped mechanic of the game but that would help a lot too on the gameplay feel and decision making.

Hi! That happened because for normal customers dialogues, those are randomly selected. It was intentional but now thinking back from your comment, we agree that it is unnecessary since we had 20 samples. We also observed that coin game mechanic wasn't clear to the player due to lack of direction and clear UI so we will need to keep this in mind to improve the project. Thank you so much for your opinion!

There are some bugs with the customers, but if you do mean the "normal" customers, they are meant to acclimate you to the general gameplay loop. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to implement a separate day system with a progressive storyline (with reoccurring customers that can update you on certain events). And also, yes the coin system was initially planned but unfortunately couldn't make it into the game :(.

these customers remind me too much of the real ones lol

it was fun. two suggestions, the main menu could've had some sfx or colors when you highlight a button to press. because it was a static image I wasn't immediately attracted to where to start the game, especially because the play button was so small. even though there's the small letter bolding, it's still hard to see. the second was it was hard to see which flowers were which because their text was hidden by the pots. I feel like it could've been more incorporated into the art maybe written onto the flower pots or something? still it was a solid game

Hi. Thank you so much for your suggestions! I indeed agree that we should've made the UI in the main menu more stand out. Because of the deadline coming fast, we got frustrated and rushed to skip through that part.  Similarly, that also happened with the UI of flowers building step. Looking back at it, we will make sure next time to prioritize these elements you've mentioned to improve the game.

Amazing art! I really liked the intro especially, the short emotional sentences make it feel really punchy! The opening sentence especially got me :,)

Gameplay was fun and relaxing enough, though I would have liked a little guidance about what I did wrong at some points---it felt like I didn't really know what I was doing wrong and what I could do better! I love how much life all the characters and their relationships seem to have. Great work!!

We're really glad that you liked the writing and the gameplay :D Adding tutorial or scoring report would definitely be helpful to give players guidance that they need. We will keep this in mind to improve our project. Thank you for the comment!

To be honest i think you're already on a good track ! so i dont know how to help you more outside of polishing a little more, the art, the music and the gameplay ! and play other games on the same genre for inspiration, that what i did, playing strange horticulture or Strange antiquitites

i love how you made a short dialogue very memorable, and no need to say how much i liked the art style

Awww! Thank you so much for the comment. Do you have any suggestions to improve the gameplay making those dialogues and arts more connected? We would love to hear your opinion.
