How does the game fit the theme?
jake just became a knight, but no one really bealieves he deserves it.
To prove himself, he's sent into the forbidden forest to get the Dragon jewelry. The problem? the forest messes with gravity. up becomes down,and once you enter there's no going back.
you'll travel through diffrent biomes,find hidden keys,avoid spikes,and use gravity to survive.
its just jake,the forest, and whatever's waiting at the top.

Gravity flip was a cool idea, and the controls were intuitive enough to use. It would have been nice if there was a checkpoint once the level was unlocked.

very nice, it has jump king vibes, (its tilting) but thats good. the background is fixed with rest of enviroment which makes me kinda dizzy after a while thats the only complaint i have

I really liked the random spawning of coins, but I wish they wouldnt all spawn in walls. Good job!

The game has a very interesting mechanic. I would say to focus on not making the coins spawn too randomly because some spawn in walls. Additionally probably don't have the entire game restart after discovering a new biome and I feel the level design can use a little work as the gravity mechanic supercedes most platforms. Great job though alone in 5 days!

1 ... GUI works very good with mouse interactions

2 ... for my taste BG is too static

3 ... coin animation good animation -> gives some feeling/movement to the game

4 ... those "star" spikes looks like BG

5 ... BG does not fit best with FG art


Design

1 ... Is "main menu" your title? (wait its not)

1.1 . Change "main menu" to the title of your game

2 ... (check Controls 2.): Problem is if player does not read tutorial (good chances) that they gave up before coming to good part.

3 ... rng coin spawn very good

4 ... maybe create level which is tutorial:

4.1 . level is gifted as player points (cant die, easy, only gain, contain core mechs. required in next levels)


Controls

1 ... character movement very responsive + sound effect very good

2 ... interesting mech: after you realize you can fly game becomes enjoyable


Sound

1 ... click fast menu -> settings: you sounds OST/BG sound gets restarted all the time

2 ... BG sound becomes repetitive after some time of listening (1min)


Bugs

1 ... coins spawns inside walls

The gravity mechanic is really fun! 

One thing that could have been nice is having a variable jump height. I noticed that whenever I jump to the platforms, I'd bonk my head on the blocks above. Granted, the jump doesn't matter as much when you can change direction of gravity haha.

Nice game, love swapping gravity :) Adding some checkpoints would be good, though.

Super cool game! The gravity mechanic is really fun. I did find some bugs though. Once you bring the key to the top of a level it takes quite awhile for it to actually unlock. It also seems that the moving platforms on the second level do not seem to work. Everytime I landed on them I would go straight through them. Besides this though it's still a really fun game! Good job!

The reverted gravity mechanics is fun and frustrating at the same time. :-)

I liked the music and used sound effects, they fit well with the playful assets.

I managed to get to the third biom, and after several deaths, I gave up. It might be nice to add some checkpoints so player doesn't have to repeat from the very beggining.

Also - coins counter is not reset on death - not sure if it is bug or a feature. :-)

Flipping through gravity sure is strange as it made my head feel strange :) A much appreciated call back to the oldies, with the art and music choice.

Something I love: I love the gravity system you implemented! Super cool!

Bugs I found: 

1. For some reason I got the key and went to the top of the map, and it didn't unlock? Not sure why, but I tried twice and still nothing :(

Overall: I love to see the twist you added to this! Keep up the great work!

sorry for that but it wasnt a bug is the on timer timeout function you would stay on the palform that leads down from the lock for up to ten seconds before timer goes out avoid not to be fliped while timer counts down cause youl just get pulled to a spike instantly dieing.
