Everything has a cost. The final result of your decisions will be the loss your own humanity.

This game was created in the last 2 days before the deadline. I didn’t properly read the rules about AI-generated assets, and that’s on me.

It seems like every part of it is generated by AI. I don't mind the use of AI normally, but it isn't allowed in the jam, and also it doesn't seem to be refined. You could draw a few relevant images yourself and write the idea in your own words at least. Your skills are more valuable than something that is generated by AI. It doesn't have to look good or feel good, but it will be more appreciated. I am hoping you will continue producing more content but on your own. Whatever you create is valuable. You can get inspired by the other games those are done with limited skills but unbound passion.

Hi,

I just want to clarify that this VN game idea, the story, and everything related to the core concept were created by me. The only things I didn’t make myself are the music, which is from Pixabay, and the thumbnail plus one image you see in the game, which were AI-generated.

I created this game in the last two days, so I didn’t have enough time to make the artwork myself. I also didn’t realize that AI-generated assets weren’t allowed in the jam, and that’s on me. The core writing and concept, however, are completely my own work.

I understand the concern about AI use, especially in a jam where it’s not allowed. That’s completely fair. But I want to emphasize that the heart of the project, the writing, the idea, and the overall direction is my own work.

I appreciate the feedback, and I’ll definitely keep it in mind moving forward. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.

2 days is definitely too tight. I am hoping to see more of your works in the future games and hoping to see more polished works. Wish the best!

sold everything at the end! :( . And hey, it’s a visual novel, right? I’m a big fan of those kinds of games too. Coffe Talk was definitely one of my favorites!

Hey, I really appreciate that! šŸ™Œ I’ve actually got multiple visual novel ideas in the works right now, so I’ll definitely keep you posted when something drops.

In the meantime, feel free to check out some of my short experimental projects:

Quiet Systems – A collection of small experimental games built around a single central question. https://krishnamohan-yagneswaran.itch.io/quiet-systems

9 SECONDS DIVIDED (The Flash Duel) – A 20-second high-intensity reflex battle. https://krishnamohan-yagneswaran.itch.io/the-flash-duel

9 Divided Men (Demo) – A whistleblower exposes an organization’s darkest secrets, forcing nine powerful men to choose: protect their empire… or let the truth destroy everything. https://krishnamohan-yagneswaran.itch.io/9-divided-men-demo-version

They’re all short and experimental, but each explores different mechanics and storytelling styles. Would love to hear what you think!
