Hope this is helpful, not exactly a big fan of CAH as the sense of humor isn't really up my alley but I am aware of the Junji Ito pinball machine as a card referencing it was in a CAH box set my friend had in college. Not sure when this was printed or whether the card is still in print, but it would've been 2019 or before. Found a picture after digging through my old phone

Wow, great find. CAH is based out for Chicago so there's another Chicago/Midwest connection here. I'm really starting to think if there is a machine out there somewhere still, it's probably in that neck of the woods.

That makes sense!! Might've been something one of the writers had seen in the area and assumed was more well-known

I think I still have a set of these cards from back when (college for me too, apparently that's the time period where CAH is funniest). Need to get it out and see if I have this card. Most folks would have probably just thought it was more of their random humor and not a real thing anyway.

The period sex bit kind of overpowers the machine if you're not looking for it. I wonder who wrote that card...

Yeah it's typical CAH lol so random shock humor. The only reason I remember it is because I had just seen Red Turtleneck for the first time the previous day and had nightmares about it

I remember this in the original, print-at-home edition of CAH a friend printed off for my 16th birthday. You know, the one with all the Glenn Beck cards that were probably really funny back then. My friends and I had no idea who Junji Ito was, but it made us laugh.

Found this exhaustive doc of all the CAH cards and editions - it's in here under main editions and it marked as being included in the KS and 1.0 versions, but nothing else (US only too). https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jUquemJ0QCQdTuLQAcmB9wXPruPuA7VCY8PV52ZU...

wow! this is so helpful. i've never actually seen this card before, though, and i had a pretty intensive cards against humanity phase a few years ago. is it possible something untoward has happened?

They've retired cards before due to them being in super bad taste, even by their standards, but this seems super early on for that. I didn't hear about them doing that until like a decade after the first release really.

it's just a bit suspicious to me, is all. i was watching everyone on youtube play it all the time as a teenager and in college but this card never came up. how did it get in there?

Apparently there was a period themed pack released in 2017 ? Not sure if that's related
