After some slight experimentation, I was able to figure out how to edit character 255 to be an all black blank character; however, I’m a tad lost on what to do next. How do I exported my edited version of the font I want to use into my Decker project? Do I have to add the font editor as a resource in order to edit in my .deck? Additionally, I theorized that because Decker fonts are bitmap, I would be able to export my glitched fonts to bitmap (pngs?) and then import using the FontImporter tool. Unfortunately, this poses another pair of problems: 1) When I imported my sheet, it came up blank, and 2) I am unsure if I need to add the FontImporter as a resource to my .deck in order to add fonts to the project.

Thank you for the recommendation, but contraptions are very much beyond my ability to understand right now. However, based on ahmwma’s tip about the Interior Contraptions, an idea came to mind. By using me.toggle[“solid”], I presume I’ll be able to have it so that if a player clicks on the field it can switch out with a version of the same field that has the text “highlighted” (ie. white text with black background)?
Quick answer for your first question: If you've got a .deck with a font saved (e.g. if you save a copy of the font editor), you should be able to drag it onto the deck you want the font in (like literally drag the file into an open Decker window), and then use the Font/DA mover that pops up to move the new font into your deck. The same goes for moving around different colour palettes, sounds, contraptions, or modules, when you get that far.
Looking at your second point, yes I think that should work - it's pretty easy to write code that hides or shows a widget based on a click
Yep, pretty much. Either by dragging and dropping another deck file onto your current project or by choosing a deck file when you're already inside the Font/DA mover you can move a variety of resources between decks (including fonts).
If you're editing one of the basic fonts that are always in Decker (body, menu, mono) it's probably best to copy them (inside the font editor deck, with the button option there) and give them a new name so they're easier to transfer over.
(And there's also another sneaky way to move fonts between projects. If you use a font in a field inside of the text editor deck and copy the field into your project, the new fonts it needs should come with it into your project too.)
