I really enjoyed playing, personally the graphics were stylised in a good way, especially the player cell(s)! Upgrades felt meaningful.

I was a little confused by the UI, with there being two different sets of %'s to track and never being sure which was my health. This then lead to several instances of me dying and being unsure if it was a bug, or if I had been looking at the wrong bar to judge my remaining life!

Really cool mechanics! The evolving  was a bit challenging, but I made some progress. I loved how the white blood cell blobbed, it felt very kinesthetic.

Doing more with less is the theme of this jam, no? By drawing the blobs via functions inside Godot rather than using assets, it was actually surprisingly easy to make them animated. I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm glad I read about the concept before the jam started!

Do you have any links (especially if they are Godot specific) that you could share for that please?

Interesting mechanics, I like it a lot, but has some ballance issues. Something similar was my first idea, but I are less experienced in using variables (I’m still learning a lot with every game development), so in this part you’ve done a far better work, with different enemies and strategies, power-ups, etc. Congrats.

Much appreciated and yeah there were way more upgrades planned. Had to scrap easily 10+ and got tight on dev window... I also cut the idea of a final boss fight. The shotgun spread is definitely way too strong and kinda necessary.... But hey for first time doing a survivor like I think it came out nice, hah.

Cool game but the graphics are poor

I can't draw any better than a 3rd grader haha. So I used godots native ability to draw the assets, plus I wanted to see what it can do with 0 assets. Works surprisingly well to just make it draw with functions.
