Damn really nice Texturupgrade across the Board!!! Fantastic Work!
Finally Level 3 has the Blood on the Walls, no other Remake has this and the Blood color on the Floor looks more like the Original Game with accurate Textures, And this is also true for the Texturequality for every Level onwards, Awesome Job Man!!!
I also like that you can backtrack in Level 10 and look at it with Black and White Filter like the Original Playthrough without being forced to do so, great Idea to implement it like this so it doesn´t destroy the Pacing, great!!!
But I still prefer the "Obscure Horror Corner Version Reupload" on Archive.org. Why?
It may have inferior Textures and Lighing but the two Fake Crash JPEG Overlays in Level 2 and Level 8 happen instantly without Loadingscreen making them more surprising than in your Version.
Yeah I admit minor... but I just prefer it this Way...
How the Screaming Stocksound is triggered is kind of wrong in your Build, it should be shortly after seeing the Ghost Kid behind you in Level 4. But in your Build you can run past the Ghost Girl for almost 1 Minute without hearing it, maybe wrong Trigger here???
If you want to implement a Way to avoid it fine but I just prefer it how it´s done in the Original Playthrough and in the "Obscure Horror Corner Version Reupload".
And the most important Part: Your Version ends the same Way the original Youtube Playthrough of OHC does, which is kinda lame...
The "Obscure Horror Corner Version Reupload" adds two more Levels here that gave the Game a better sense of Finality. Yeah it may not be 100% accurate for the Purists...
but for the awesome Creditsong Ytse jam by Dream Theater alone... Yeah I love this way more than the original Ending!!!
I mean how else can you end a Game like this...
