First of. Wow Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart!!!

How I would like my Build...

Ah before I begin: Here is the Link to the Obscure Horror Corner Version Reupload from Archive.org I will mention here just in case: https://archive.org/details/game_20250111_202501

btw. the Reupload is from me, I downloaded this Sad Satan Version a bunch of years ago here on Itchio, but unfortantently this Version was patched with unnecessary Gore for some Reason that´s why I decided to reupload this older Build myself...

Ghost Girl Scream: 20 seconds, just to make sure...

Secret ending screen would be awesome. Easiest Way to do this would be by just adding Level 12 from Archive.org Build so I agree with you, fully on Board with this, it has also two more Levels after this and a banger you Win Screen that plays banger Ytse Jam by Dream Theater, if you add this this would be amazing!!!

Level 2 like Archive.org Build, that would be awesome!!! So combining Level 2 and 3 to one single Level and use only Level 3 Graphicsfilter and Lighting.

For me losing the Level 2 Filter is no huge Loss for me. So now I have the Fake Crash immediatly without any prior Loadingscreen Warning.

If this is too much put the Loadingscreen to the Beginning of Level 3 instead, that would also work for me. Oh I should explain better, Fake Jpeg Crash without Loading still in Level 2, after it´s done it loads Level 3 with a Loadingscreen.

Yeah I admit I am super petty with things like this, I am sorry...

Oh have forgotten one thing. A Level Select would also be nice... As far as I remember this is just one Toggle before compiling the Game.

Why didn´t I think of that before???

No problem, bro! :) Unfortunately, I can’t add a level selector for one specific reason: Terror Engine Reborn 2.1 was the version originally used to create Sad Satan. I’ve been hunting for that version, but it’s basically lost media at this point—impossible to find.

If I use version 2.5a to compile the game, the lighting and even the skybox textures change drastically because of the version jump (you can see this for yourself if you try to run Level 1 on Terror Engine Reborn 2.5a). That’s why I can’t implement a level selector or even create a 32-bit build, sadly... If only someone could get their hands on a copy of version 2.1...

Anyway, everything else is doable. So, just to make sure I’ve got this right:

Replace "Level 2" of this version with the "Level 2" from the archive.org version.
Set a 20-second trigger for the ghost girl’s scream.
Add a secret zone (plus some new audio and images).
An ending screen with "Ytse Jam" by Dream Theater playing in the background.

That you go out of your way of doing this... I am speechless....

That the Level Select thing doesn´t work is no big Deal... I have completly forgotten about this weird Thing while compiling... yeah Terror Engine can be a bitch...

I'm working on it, but I ran into a bit of a snag... While modifying Level 2, I noticed an error: all the blocks had a height of 3.5 instead of 4, so I basically (almost) had to rebuild the level from scratch. This fix will be included in your build, but I also had to fix it in my main build. I expect it to be ready in a few days, as long as I don't get too bogged down with other stuff.

Edit: I also modified the walk/run speed in levels 2 and 3 to match the original game.

Wow... first of you are awesome. I have played through the first three Levels, i will of course play the rest as well.

I love what you did to the Menus, absolutly love this!!! And finally Level 2. It is seamless now, finally no Loadingscreen here i love it.

This is exactly how i wanted it but it has some Issues: the Pictures don´t spawn correct or not at all.

The first part of the Jpeg Crash Music is missing, it only plays what in your Version would play in Level 3. Because of that the Music is out of synch. The Jpeg Crash Picture doesn´t work, it only shows a Questionmark. The Hans Picture later also doesn´t work here it simply shows nothing. Every Issue is Level 2 only.

If if find anything more I will add another Comment. But still, this is my favorite Version when the Bugs are fixed!!! Great Job!!!

So I continue now with Level 4, looking forward to the Rest!!!

No big Deal, the fact that you made this special Version alone is worth enough for me.

Good I have now completed it, 20 Second Ghost Girl Scream is PERFECT!!!

Your Levels have no Issues whatsoever so I just skip to the End.

After the Ghostgirl chased you it seems the Game skips Level 12 entirely or you removed it... I know this Level is kind of pointless. But I would prefer it still being here with a 4 Minute Timetrigger that loads the next Level 13.

Level 13 is perfect no Issues here.

Level 14 is kind of wrong, In the Obscure Horror Corner Reupload you hear one last Speech of Charles Manson, I think this rounds the Game up perfectly and should stay. After the Speech is over bang You Win Screen with Ytse jam by Dream Theater Music, this is how I would like it.

In your Version it immediatly cuts to an End Screen after a few Steps , no final Charles Manson speech, no Music plays and the You Win Screen also doesn´t work you see another Questionmark.

It seems only the Levels from my Obscure Horror Corner Reupload make Problems, sorry for that...

But still when this small Problems are fixed this is my definitve Version of Sad Satan.

Gotcha, I'll fix it. Would you like if I add a secret "Win" screen with the song "ChuChu Lovely MuniMuni MuraMura PrinPrin Boron Nururu ReroRero"? (Yeah, I'm serious. If you wanna know what the song is about, tryna look it up) I just thought it would fit, since my game/remake's purpose it's to criticize vile people and their "acts", acts that would even make Satan sad (absolute cinema)
