Game description
A short platformer game about emitting electromagnetic waves to open doors and bridges to escape the confines of the levels you've been put in. Computer only.

Theme interpretation
I used the theme "waves" as electromagnetic waves in my game that the player uses to get through levels.

Cool little puzzle game! Loved the core mechanic.

I really like the direction of making a puzzle game about waves!  Puzzle games are incredibly difficult to make during a jam since they require so much play testing to tune, but I think you're off to a great start with this one.  You've got good mechanics, great vibes with the music, and good quality of life features like the skip level button and fast one button level reset.

I think the biggest thing that would improve this game is an adjustment to the controls.  I think that you should use A and D for both movement and aiming the wave since the character is locked in place while aiming anyway.  I would also include a key to cancel aiming a wave once you start.  I would often unconsciously tap space bar to jump and trigger the aiming.

Awesome job!

Overall, I really enjoyed this game and its theme—it has a strong identity and a great sense of style. The art, music, and core premise are all very solid and pulled me in right away. My only real note is around the controls: I found myself occasionally triggering the electron wave emitter by habit while platforming, since spacebar is so commonly used for jumping (and here jump is mapped to up). It created a little bit of friction for me early on.

That said, this is a small tweak in an otherwise really engaging experience. The foundation here is strong, and with a bit of control refinement, I think this could feel even more fluid and immersive. Great work—I genuinely had fun with this.

Neat little puzzle platformer. I think the mechanics are fairly clean (though had some trouble with not being able to emit waves in tight corners where I'd already started a wave there through them colliding.) I would maybe make the movement controls more snappy with less momentum, sometimes it asks for precision when climbing up through platforms and you glide off and might feel nicer if it was tighter. Overall good job!

Great puzzle platformer, the wave mechanic was interesting and liked how you added explanations of mechanics and interactions between mechanics every few levels. In a few places the emitters appeared to collide with the ground and not emit. I had trouble placing the gamma emitters in such a way that I didn't get hit and die on the level where you can first place gamma emitters, the visualisation of the line looked like it wouldn't collide with the player, but it did as the collider extended beyond the player. All the levels before that worked fine though and were interesting puzzles! The skip level option in the menu was a good idea, I completed 8/10 successfully :)

It might just be me, but when I got to the level where the character places gamma waves, I couldn't figure out how to progress since whenever I placed down the waves it would just kill me. I might've been doing it wrong, but it kept getting me stuck. It's  a cool concept though!

What an amazing little game. Had me hooked for so long. Space for placement kept messing me up as I kept pressing it to jump but otherwise, such a great concept and really well thought out. Challenging levels with clever puzzles. Well done.

It is a nice game however the controls were a bit difficult to get used to. W & S keys are used to control the angle of the emitted wave which is non-intuitive to me. Also the placement of the wave is done by Space which I am more used to as a Jump key. Nice little puzzle game otherwise!
