I’ve been having a big issue that’s preventing me from updating my old asset pages or uploading new ones, and I wanted to see if other devs are dealing with the same thing or got a response from support.

All GIFs on my asset pages have stopped animating — even older ones that used to work fine. Only a few pages across the store still seem to display animated banners or previews properly.

Here’s what I’ve noticed:

• They only play when opened in the image preview.
• The issue appears across desktop, mobile, and multiple browsers.
• GIFs embedded directly in the description still animate fine.
• File sizes and dimensions are all within normal limits (<3 MB).

I contacted Itch support about 20 days ago, but haven’t heard back yet. This issue’s really holding me back from updating or uploading new packs. Has anyone else run into this or found a fix? Maybe I'm missing something, or someone has already resolved the problem?
