First of all, awesome game, really pleasant to play and the procedural generation is really satisfying to see.

I'm curious about what tools were used to build this game, and if you would allow people to mod this game at some point ?

Thanks in advance !

Thank you!

The game was created using vanilla HTML, CSS & JavaScript, with VS Code as my code editor. I made a conscious decision not to use any external JavaScript libraries or frameworks to ensure it works offline from a single file and has no dependencies.

If people are interested in creating mods, then I could add a dedicated section to the Extras menu. This could allow players to import mod files and toggle which ones they wish to activate/deactivate. I would probably add this once the game nears completion to prevent big new updates from breaking mods.

Until then, if anyone has anything they'd like added or changed, please post your suggestions in these comments so I can add them to my to-do list!

since all the descriptions already exist if you have player weight gain off, a toggle on whether or not you want to eat when you have it on would be a nice quality of life feature. it can get tedious to lose weight if you have it on especially once feeders are added a lot of money and time will have to be spent on maintaining weight if you don’t want to end up stuck in your house

!Tip: buy some weightloss medicine at: town ->  high street shoops -> pharmacy.
Consuming this keeps your weight under control.

yes ik, but what since it’s only like 4-7 lbs per it’s easy to run out of money so a toggle would be nice. thanks for the tip tho :)

The next update will include something similar to your suggestion. :)

It's not a toggle, but you can choose to forgo food options on dates. Persuading your girl to eat does become harder if you aren't joining her, though!

honestly that’s even better I like that there is consequence, and it also could lead to some interesting dialogue eventually if you wanted to turn the tables on a feeder personality!

eventually you could also add a light, normal, heavy sort of thing too that could lead to cool new interactions depending on characters. but this seems like a little hard to code seems like that may branch things too much but it’d definitely be cool lmao

Adding built in Mod support to the game would honestly make this into one of the GOATs of Weight Gain games. It enhances the playability massively and extends player retention as well.

You could also go the route of providing a dedicated Modding kit with the game to make it even easier to make mods for this.

Good plan. When I make the mod section, I'll include a button to download a basic sample mod that can be used as a template, plus some instructions.

Well, I think I mentioned this before, and it's probably an unpopular request, but it would be great if there was perhaps an option to add more realism to the health issues, since in their immobile stage some say they have breathing problems or things like that, but when they are moved to the care home and gain more weight, it's as if those health problems completely disappear.

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten your request & I promise it'll be added at some point, as an optional feature similar to Lipedema & Macromastia!

+1 for the procedural generation = what makes the game replayable.
