really cute mechanics - you have the feel and behaviour down really well, but that whistle is a bit shrill ^^.  I guess it was tricky to design levels for?  I sort of just want to play around with the book in a more free-form way - it's fun to handle!

Thank you! This was my first experience designing a bunch of levels for a puzzle game, so it went surprisingly well (I did make sure to playtest early, that really helped).

I learned rather quickly that levels had to be heavily constrained to prevent everything from becoming too confusing, but as a side effect there’s not much room to play around with the book! I actually added the more open early level with a bunch of water pools after someone noted how tight the levels feel.

I feel that a really good version of this game might just be a relatively open house where you want to put books back on shelves;  don't have it be about tight puzzle design (maybe with some other pushable entities), just see what happens/naturally emerges from the chaos...
