Probably not, dev wrote a few posts down about it. Basically abandoned this due to money issues to work on another game... without explaining how the next game will not encounter the same issues.
And supposedly on posts on their patreon/private discord for actual updates on things. Feels like they just don't want to actually finish it, since apparently they aren't making enough money on an unfinished product (not everyone wants to pay for uncompleted stuff for this exact reason).
I don't normally reply to posts like this, but this is simply not true.
I am not sure where you think you got this information, but I do not have any unreleased updates.
If I had the ability to self fund updates and release them, I would. The only reason I haven't is because I can not afford to continue making games if I go that route.
