I don't normally reply to posts like this, but this is simply not true.
I am not sure where you think you got this information, but I do not have any unreleased updates.
If I had the ability to self fund updates and release them, I would. The only reason I haven't is because I can not afford to continue making games if I go that route.
Should try giving a chance to the game on Steam again, I know that Steam didn't accept it, but if it's possible to try again you should probably try again if it's feasible, a game like this could have definitively way better chance on Steam
Now, I do gotta say that I am kinda disappointed as I did expect this game to have more updates as that was in fact the main reason I bought it in the first place
Thats my frustration, I have a feeling there hasn't been any work done on it since our last update. Wasting our money trying to fund it by buying it here without knowing we could have also went to their Patreon page too (found it too late would have done that instead), but saw there hadn't been any updates on the game on their patreon since the last update we had either.
Could advertise it on FA, or other places. Like post showcase videos on E621 or something with links back to this page or patreon.
Otherwise giving us everything they have accomplished since that last update would be better than simply abandoning it
This is rather disappointing. This was my favorite prospective nsfw game so far, but I suppose I will have to scratch it off if it will never receive another update.
I must however question the logic, if this game couldn't support itself enough through nothing but itch and patreon income, how will the next? Especially given that now everyone who knows you through this game knows that if you can't miraculously pull enough funding to self-sustain, the game will hit EOL far before completion?
If nothing else, you simply should not have such a high expectation of a project like this. Community-funded, niche, nsfw, itch and patreon-only projects practically *never* make enough money in isolation. $15 wasn't a high asking price when updates were frequent, but for a project this early access that's now abandoned, it's ridiculous.
