Would you ever consider sharing more about why steam is off-limits? It feels really bizarre and arbitrary considering the other suite of nsfw games already hosted there, would be interesting to know why this game in particular is getting shafted in that respect.

Not that I blame them, but so many devs seem to have the misguided idea that they just need some game to be a miraculous hit during development to fund itself, when in reality solo indie dev means you'll be making basically no money until release, and even then it's a chance. Having the expectation that it will pay for itself for an early access, indie, NSFW game is absurd imo.
This is rather disappointing. This was my favorite prospective nsfw game so far, but I suppose I will have to scratch it off if it will never receive another update.
I must however question the logic, if this game couldn't support itself enough through nothing but itch and patreon income, how will the next? Especially given that now everyone who knows you through this game knows that if you can't miraculously pull enough funding to self-sustain, the game will hit EOL far before completion?
If nothing else, you simply should not have such a high expectation of a project like this. Community-funded, niche, nsfw, itch and patreon-only projects practically *never* make enough money in isolation. $15 wasn't a high asking price when updates were frequent, but for a project this early access that's now abandoned, it's ridiculous.
Just finished the game, what a nice story with a well-made minigame to match! My only complaint would be that the crane + croc fight feels incredibly unfair, took me the longest of any fight by far, and everything else felt balanced and beatable by mainly strategy rather than pure luck, but I found a combo of perks that made it what I feel to be the least luck based in the end. Great soundtrack too.
