I think we all agree that we understand that you can't just hand stuff out for free. 

How can, we the fans, help you out. 

I have bought the game and am pledging on Patreon. What else could we be doing?

Don't meant to be like this but, this post just feels like gaslighting (correct me if I'm wrong). I don't think people are being "negative" they are making themselves heard and stating their concerns. Things tend to get abandoned when they go down the path AG is going and there is a mountain of examples we all could sight.
As for being positive. we've all been down this road, it always starts with, "just a few months." next thing you know the whole thing is in limbo. which is worse that just having the whole thing just canceled. 

We paid for this game. Some of us are also monthly Patreons. We can see the income on the site which is $1600 a month right now.  Not huge money but nothing to sneeze at I mean, we're paying his rent right? I feel like we deserve to be heard at the very least.

Let's be honest. The choice to answer, "lack of money!" with "brand new project!" is a confounding one. People, especially those who are contributing monthly, have a right to question it. 

We all get it that's why I and others have offered to help out. It's off putting that solutions are met with silence and indifference. even more so when you consider that there are options that don't seem to be even being attempted.

We WANT this project to see completion, most of us also have seen what happens when a project goes on an indefinite hiatus.

I hear you, yut you ARE getting paid! There are peeps like me who bought the game here AND then joined your Patreon because we all are aware of how difficult a project like this is. Don't get me wrong,  I'm excited about the idea of a new project but I can't help but  get concerned about you switching all of a sudden as this sort of thing has a pattern of not working out. 

Everyone here would love to help you out getting the needed resourses.  There's ways of going about it that should work for you just fine. It's just a matter of getting it done.

Would you like me to start pulling in your fans to get people on the Patreon?  Is there a level of support we could get you to that would mean you'd return to AG?  If at least enough to open it up to mod support and let the fans finish it?

You should make your loss of faith and dispointment heard. I'm getting pretty tiered of paying for games and having them tossed too. I spent $15 on this game and jumped up to a $20 patreon when I heard they were have $ issues. Still they are going to drop this into game into limbo which is sad considering they said the game was almost finished.

I'm not sure I'd call it cowardess but you have a valid point you did pay good money to play the game hop onto their discord and kindly (I mean kindly this isn't some double meaning) voice your disapointment and loss of faith.

I did, I walked him through the process and even offered him a large sum of money to finish. at this point I think he just doesn't want to finish it. 

Just ran into this and went to find your kickstarter... a bit too late. But hey, I work with a company that runs about 5 kickstarters a year. I'd advise you to pick this project right back up and do it again. In our experience failed KSs with this level of production value are good earners as everyone loves a comeback story and it shows people you're committed, which is a concern in both the KS and NSFW space.
I looked around your KS page and I'd like to point out that get about 1/3 on day 1 the 1/3 in all the days after then, the last 1/3 on the last day and a half.
This Looks like a great project so I hope you pick it back up

I apologize for asking you to repeat old information. I was just wondering, didn't mean to upset or frustrate anyone, I get not wanting to repeat yourself. 

Interesting they dinged you on that point, If I thought the characters looked too young I'd have passed on the game myself.
