Thats a fun twist, and has a lot of humor. Not exactly my genre but feels pretty good if a bit chaotic.

This game really stands out from the WTF Factor criteria. The beginning is very impactful, nice settings and way of passing a message!

Did not see that coming, DAMN! Talk about a twist! I love sea turtles, and your game had a really cool message too. Very well done!

Saving your turtle buddies was a nice touch, although I would’ve liked it if the turtle turned around when moving to the left.

All in all, I think that twist is going to stick with me for a while, even if I wasn’t great at it!

That was a really fun game, I was not expecting a flying turtle. Heres my playtrough of your game it starts at 5:15 great job! :D

Hey, thanks for playing. Sorry it was a little too late for me to join you in the stream last night. It was very helpful to see someone else playing. Looks like in your first attempt you missed tracking the food meter, maybe I need to find a way to make that more obvious. I will also add input prompts in-game. Once you got in the flow you did a great job! Tweaking the difficulty is tricky. I increase the rate of enemies after you score 10000 points. I was concerned it would be too difficult otherwise but I think I can crank it up a little. And yes, you picked exactly where I was going with the game design. The more “dangerous” zone in the middle is where the food is and where the player wants to be. You can stay airborne and conserve energy by choosing not to shoot at the expense of not scoring points, or you can stay safely at the very bottom where there are way fewer enemies but you still need to surface for air.

np, I had fun. Im glad you got some good ideas for your game. cant wait to see what you make in the future! :D

Really good, damn that was good. only a little nitpick but may be my fault idk, the "boss" music at the end of the prologue came a little late, i was like hold up whats happening. the thing is coming close but its silent. then after like 10 seconds it came.

But i loved this game. GREAT WORK!!!!

Developer

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback. I agree. I think we need to work a little on the buildup of that track and trim a little in the begginnig.

We had similar ideas about cyber animals ^^

And honestly, your intro made me doubt the game’s quality a bit, but it was actually really well thought out!

Great tutorial and great shoot ’em up!

Developer(+1)

Yeah! I did look at different animals and I do think cats and otters are really cute but I like turtles. I really thought more people would go this route and I thought I could explore undersea environments to make them more distinct.

The gameplay is a bit slow, but it's a tortoise, so it's understandable considering the “ game lore”. Good work!!!

There is a twist. You may need to play a little more to get to the second part of the game 😬

Ey!! I'll give it another try!

I also added a video… Spoilers!

I was feeling the wholesome educational start, "This is good, this is all true", reflection, reflection.

Then turtle turns badass mode on. That was actually good. Thanks!

This game is an educational game! Your game is very well made, with humor that touches on nature conservation, reminding people to protect nature and reduce pollution on Earth. Every detail is meaningful, and I support this game!

The first part was sad, and I really enjoyed the second half (even though I'm bad at it.)

Thanks for the heads-up. I saw itch.io failed earlier. I just reupload the game just in case.
