Wow this collection packs really turning into something cool. Really need to think of a cool project for them :D

The bow is probably a bit over powered, but not that I was complaining. Was able to escape with the boat in the end :) Liked how you could destroy the bushes and boxes as well, had me smashing everything for some extra hearts at one point. The stamina system also adds a nice touch to stop spamming attack or sprint
Such a fun platformer, can see you put so much effort into it. Sorry to hear about the storm. I also couldn’t find the exit though even after a few tries. The tight camera angle is a bit of a double edged sword, it creates a tense feeling but sometimes can lead to what feels like an unfair death. But overall really great job! Oh and I also like the level decorations and background effects
I liked the bamboo concept, and I’ve also had to upload games without audio before, so been there, done that. The control setup felt a bit awkward for me. Maybe allow up/W to also be jump, so the player’s right hand can be used just for pressing L and K.
The movement is a bit stiff, and it was hard to hit the zombies, but for a first jam game, well done. Good luck on the rest of your game jam journey!
A good, solid, old-fashioned platformer with some banger music! Great use of the assets as well.
Just a few minor notes for constructive criticism: when the player jumps and the camera follows, you can’t see the floor anymore, so it’s hard to know where you’re going to land. Also, maybe add a little bounce after landing on an enemy to really get a cool pogo effect going.
But overall, it’s a really fun and cool game, and again, the music — chef’s kiss!
As a base concept, I really like it. There’s a lot to explore and build on here. I didn’t see this pack while looking through the assets, so that was a good find and a great idea for how to use it.
The twist of playing as the rat was really cool and unique. If you keep working on it, being the rat could open up some interesting gameplay ideas, like slipping through small cracks in the wall as shortcuts and things like that.
Also, such a good thumbnail by the way!
Wow, just so much polish! Everything was so well done and put together. I knew the moment I saw that menu screen with settings that this was going to be good, and it did not disappoint.
The character felt great to control, and the levels were structured really well. The only small bit of constructive criticism I can offer is that collecting the coins didn’t feel very impactful, and the bullet sound for the first gun gets a bit repetitive.
But those are minor things considering how much you got done in such a short time. Really well done, best game of the jam I’ve played so far!
A very unique idea, with some polish and tweaking, it could be a lot of fun! It’s very fast-paced, and it was only on my second run that I really clicked with what to do.
If you make the assembling process more engaging and maybe rotate in other characters, that alone would add a lot. Really cool use of the assets and how they can be pulled apart!
This actually gave me an idea for a game I might make — a Guess Who–style game.
I really enjoyed trying to figure out the puzzle of it all! It might’ve been because I played in full screen, but sometimes when I tried to change the seed type, it would also click the field behind the button.
I wasn’t very good at this game, but to be fair, I’m not great at Minesweeper either, so that’s more on me than the game!
Didn’t click at first what to do or look for, but figured it out. Such a creepy creepy touch kudos! It doesn’t say anything in the description but scrolling the mouse to get a closer look really helped. Great job on getting all the aspects and tools and things done in such a short time, it’s really impressive
Yeah sadly there were too many smaller things I got stuck on. The idea was to also have a health system so you would have to chose to take a score hit or a health hit from the enemies and then I had plans for abilities and upgrades you could get as the level went on. A leader board would have been a really good idea thanks for the thoughtful feedback!
Did not see that coming, DAMN! Talk about a twist! I love sea turtles, and your game had a really cool message too. Very well done!
Saving your turtle buddies was a nice touch, although I would’ve liked it if the turtle turned around when moving to the left.
All in all, I think that twist is going to stick with me for a while, even if I wasn’t great at it!
Such a cool intro and premise, really well put together! I really liked the opening cutscene.
A few small notes: the wall climb/lean seemed to kick in a bit too quickly at times when I wasn’t expecting it, and maybe consider adding a bit of coyote time (or a bit more if it’s already there) for jumping. Also, a small nit-pick, I wasn’t a big fan of how the dust particles looked.
Overall, great job!
As for expanding on it, this could make for a really cool little roguelite. Definitely worth giving it some more thought!
A fun concept, and thought the monster design was really well done. Would have liked to see some more animations from him though. Like a jumping animation or scare animation. But the core of the game was cool and I liked the race against time / puzzle find all the scare spots aspect. And you did a great job on the sound effects. Other people did mention but the jump is a bit floaty.
Oh no didn’t think of CTRL + W closing the browser. Will remember that for future, thanks so much. And also thanks for playing my game and taking the time to review it. I realized too close to the deadline that I created that view cone bug, so I just had the character respawn instead of having the level restart. Would have been too frustrating to play if you had to restart unfairly like that. Sadly I can only play browser games and your game’s art style is giving me very How to train your dragon vibes from what I can see.
Yeah sadly I tried to give each enemy a dynamic view cone size and only realized too late that there is a bug somewhere in the code that resizes it :( But still thanks so much for taking the time to play my game and give feedback. Really wish I could play your game the premise is so unique and reading the comments is giving me full on #fomo. But I can sadly only play browser games :(
