Can't rate this! For some reason my resolution broke the game and I couldn't see anything aside from the camo selection, eye on top for visiblity and some random streaks of light when i walked.
The stealth concept seems really promising! I did have trouble finding the challenge without encountering many (close-enough) rabbits to sneak around, in a few parts due to very high movement speed, spread-out scenery, and low rabbit count. With that aside, the different suit types make for a fun bit of personality, although I'd be curious about ways to make this look more camouflagey (ex: rock-helmet-like headpiece, or a grass hat...).
Otherwise, it's really good work for what's evidently a first try at making a game - and the concept has some good potential!
The stealth mechanic is broken!
The enemies's field of vision just doesn't work in like 95% of its totality. You gotta be deliberately looking for the small spot where you can start getting spotted.
Where's the stealth aspect in being able to stand and even run inside a vision cone without even a single hint of a penalty?
I tried messing around in the vision cones with all the camos, and all that affected was the rate of being spotted, so I think the cone just doesn't detect the player right.
Operation Dango Eater when?
A nice change which would improve the QOL would be the ability to close the camo menu. Right now, you must equip an alternate camo and wait a timer to close the menu. Otherwise, cool game!
I like the concept, but I wish we could see the camo change Reisen's texture. THE PS1-like aesthetic is cool
I feel like not having camera control isn't the key issue in this game, but rather the perspective given. It is difficult for the player to see their surroundings with a from-behind third person POV, and that's added by the lack of camera control. If the camera is pulled up to an isometric angle, I'm sure the game will feel instantly better!
Honestly, I really like the idea! The lack of camera control and the camo system feeling clunky is a bummer though.
