Haha! Played it semi-darkness with a small lamp on...and really enjoyed it! Tried it twice and got the bad and good ending, though was told that I'd cheated during the good ending so not sure if I did something wrong?
Love the smooth animations, really nicely done in Pulp, and the courtroom scene is beautifully drawn!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you get the good ending after already played through before. You cheated as you knew how to get it. Is there a pure good ending if you do it right 1st time?
Fantastic game by the way, the sprite animation climbing down to the spade is cool and as above the courtroom drawing is lovely. Would love more in this style.
That is correct... the Spirit may know you've been there before...
I actually wanted to clarify that a bit more AND add a purely good ending but ran out of time, as I turn into a ware-wolf every Halloween at 12am.
May update for fun (along with another little secret) in the days ahead.
Thanks for the positive comments-- very often, the early stages of a game have me messing around with a new mechanic or a form of art, and the story develops out of this. That's a bit how this one started, with the movement animation, which is being incorporated into QFTX2 as well.
