I absolutely did play it more than once! And I'll try it again with the latest update :D

Haha! Played it semi-darkness with a small lamp on...and really enjoyed it! Tried it twice and got the bad and good ending, though was told that I'd cheated during the good ending so not sure if I did something wrong?

Love the smooth animations, really nicely done in Pulp, and the courtroom scene is beautifully drawn!

Installed and will play tonight!

The screenshot looks intriguing! Looking forward to playing this :D

This is cool but there's a bit of a bug when you try to move through the main maze diagonally down-left - the square gets stuck instead of sliding along the wall, which makes moving a bit stickier than it should be.

Also, when going into a castle, the original jumps you into the castle as soon as you move into the open portcullis, whereas in your version you have to keep moving off the top of the screen.

Other than that, great version of the easy mode!

Congratulations on the big update, looking forward to giving it a try tomorrow!

Sounds good, I hope you run with it and continue to develop the game!

I'm not very good at this yet but I like the speed of the knight for the same reasons Ryan mentioned. Very much enjoying this!

Yeah I just did that yesterday and it works now :)

I love these changes, makes it feel like you’re progressing between levels and games :D

Hi, I think you’ve compiled the game using a beta SDK as it’s asking me to update my Playdate’s firmware even though I’m on the latest main release.

I bought Jezzak after reading your comment as I love Qix style games. And you’re right, it’s really good! However, this game offers a slower, more thoughtful version in my opinion which is also really enjoyable.

The only thing I’d like is a pause when your game ends before starting the next one to review your score vs the hiscore.

That new version works perfectly, thanks!

That really does help, thanks very  much for the explanation! I've still not had that much time but I'm a few holes in and enjoying the story :)

I haven’t played much yet (just got past a couple of strokes) and I’m enjoying the story but I have a question!

The icons are really small and there’s no explanation for what they do. Should I be picking the icon nearest to the hole or can pick any one to get more information?

And if you’d like a hand with putting in apostrophes and quote marks then just let me know :) it would make the text easier to read in places.

Thanks very much! They're pretty simple (mostly done to see if I could get back into coding, and Pulp is a nice, easier entry back into it) but I think there's some fun to be had in them!

I saw your update about the upcoming Catalog release of FBIC and the Itch update, looking forward to playing more of it, it's a great game :)

When I sideload this it tells me I need a system update but the Playdate says I’m up-to-date. Does your game need the latest beta operating system to install?

For this jam I had hoped to restart a project that I've been working on for a while, but life has got in the way so it's taking a bit longer than I hoped! However, it's almost there, I just need to tweak a few things and then it'll be uploaded...

In the meantime, here's a  couple of screenshots: https://slider271.itch.io/eggs-of-the-serpent

Congratulations on the amazing announcement! Really looking forward to playing it as part of S2 :D

I was genuinely upset about this post for about 30 seconds then I remembered the date :D

but on the other hand, a game from you in a week or so would be really cool :D

Nice! I liked the code on the window puzzle as it took me a minute or two to realise that one!

This is so impressive for a Pulp game, my only quibble is that I feel there should be no delay in initial movement if you keep a directional button pressed, and there’s a slight delay here… :P and I know you can set that in Pulp :)

This is really nice! I like the gentle puzzling so far, a great introduction to the setting with hints of backstory, and I'm looking forward to the full game with trickier puzzles :)

Hi, the game crashes the Playdate as soon as it's run, not sure what's going wrong with it!

The screenshots are looking so impressive! Great work, can't wait to play it :)

I'm still fairly rubbish at this, but it's a brilliant game and the highlights option definitely doesn't hurt :D

Hi, this seems to be a Windows game but is incorrectly tagged as Playdate…

Thanks for that! Definitely makes it a little less random :D

Nice update! 45 is my high now…

Very impressive for the time spent on it! I haven’t looked at your other games but I will now :)

Fun wee game, and always great to hear Yakety Sax :D

My only feedback is that it would be good if the required speed stayed the same for a bit longer so it didn’t feel quite so random from second to second!

You’re very welcome, I really like the game! Online leaderboards for some or all levels would be great on Catalog, another reason to keep playing the levels :D

But I know what it’s like to want to get on to the next thing haha :D looking forward to that, whatever it is…

Your JRPG- inspire game sounds cool, I’ll look out for you posting about it :)

Cheers for the tweaks, this going to be one I go back to any time I’ve got a few minutes for a bit of high score chasing!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next….

Congratulations, that’s really well deserved! I see a double purchase coming up :D

Nice update! I like the stats addition. One UI thing that would be nice would be the ability to press B after the game ends to go back to the menu rather than just A to restart :)

thank you for the offer but I bought the Catalog version :) love the daily high score challenge, really gives a reason to keep going for a high score each day rather than a static high score table where mad high scores stay top forever.

Hi! I noticed there was an update on Catalog tonight and wondered what had been changed? I see it shows the current top daily score to aim for now, which is cool.

Much as I love Snak from Season 1, this is a great pure Snake game :D really responsive which makes it super playable.

My best so far is 41…I find it better to avoid wrapping the snake where possible, as I struggle to remember that it’s going to hit its own tail 😂

Had time for a few goes and this is great! Managed 2660 and reached level 4 (I think) so a long way to go to reach 10!

Going for the power ups makes all the difference when it comes to clearing the enemy waves, and they all offer different, useful advantages

Love the recoil animation when you shoot and the pixel shatter effect when you get hit. Really looking forward to whatever you come up with next for the Playdate :)

Have side loaded this and looking forward to giving it a try a bit later tonight :D I’ve only made a couple of simple games in Pulp but it’s a really fun system to develop for.
