thanks for the kind words. The difficulty is on the harder side sorry. If we get the time, a difficulty option would go a long way.
Cool idea. It gets a bit stressful towards the end of a cycle but I assume that's untentional. I like the movement and the art is great.

We wanted there to be a bit of panic as you raced against the clock back. It may be something to dial down especially in higher levels.

Great music and art! The timer is a bit too short for exploring
A nice surprise considering we feed our squirrels on our porch. Was quite sad looking when my squirrel fell from high and died. Acorns are indeed a fall item and cozy vibe. I used 'ACORN' in my game, give it a try.

The music and SFX are amazing! The art is cute and cozy. It might be a skill issue on my side, but it's a bit hard. I wish I had enough time to explore the whole map. Otherwise, nice game :))

So fun to jump from branch to branch (and inevitably fall into a pit cuz I pushed my luck)! Super cute and cozy game :>
Really fun game, with great gameplay and amazing art :)) I had issues with falling out of the map on the left side by two times; I wish we had the option to pause and retry the level ! I was stuck at 18 acorns because I was greedy though. The world is really big, I had time to explore (instead of feeding the goddess, I'll admit) and it's such a nice environment ! The "higher difficulty" threshold is quickly overstepped but, overall, a wonderful game ! I'll try to beat my score once more...
Score to beat is 22! That's a great point and something I'd love to implement in the future, along with some of those bugfixes. Glad to hear you enjoyed exploring the world, we really wanted it to feel like you were a small creature in a big magical world.
Your game started out looking like a one screen plattformer but every round I played I was like "wow, the world is even bigger" The controls take a little time to get used to but they turned out to be so much fun! You nailed the whole "simple but highly enjoyable" mechanic that should be the goal for every game jam game! Also really love the main character! Great work!

I love this take about the world becoming bigger each round, that really gives it a beautiful touch.
Very fun to play and the drawings are very cool, gave me some speedrunning urge haha

I think this is my favorite game so far. I had a little bit of trouble at the start figuring out what I had to do, and I also got stuck in the spikes once, but besides that… The art is really beautiful, it really is. It looks like a proper full game. And the character is charming, magical.
The orchestral music reminds me of the Four Seasons, and the birds sounds are also really good. And I was really surprised at how the game continues to give on and on with higher level difficulties and power ups (I lost at level 3 always though). Really well done.
PS: This also looks a lot like the initial idea for our game, haha!

Very fun and very cute! I managed to get to 22 but got a little stuck while collecting 30 and didn't make it in time.
It seems like a lot of people are getting stuck around 22. I wonder if any platformer pro’s would be able to beat it or if we need to tweak the difficulty.
