This game has a really interesting and promising concept that could be really well expanded. Everything is nice as it is, but some more polishing and more feedback for the player (especially to let them know whether they hit

Yes I have thought about feedback when you hit the void, but never had time to do it, my week was kinda busy so not the best time to do a game jam, so I am surprised how it turned out. After voting, I am planning to give it a fairly big update that fixes some of the problems people have already mentioned, including what you have said.

The idea of having to stop your son from getting distracted was very funny, but I didn’t really understand how I could stop it from happening.

He really cannot stop getting distracted because of his attention span being terrible, but you can get him back by looking directly at him when you are close to him. This will allow him to keep following you. Pretty much all information about the game is in the How to Play section of the main menu.
I think this game turned out pretty well for a first jam! Killing enemies with guns is fun!
