Definately in the upper echelons of the jam. I do agree with what most people are saying here in that the platforming seems pretty brutal at times, although I feel the engine is partially to blame. There is a nice variation and I definitely wasn't expecting the big baddy; It almost got me but you had just enough pickups to where it felt like a challenge not a meat grinder. The second level did seem kind of padded though and I feel I was lost longer than what the design was originally intended for. Great entry overall!
So damn good. Platform jumping section was brutal, everything else about this rocks. The way the liquid in the gun animates is fun. Assets all well animated but most importantly I love your use of color.

The only issues I had were some (imo) unforgiving platforming, and a couple of crashes. The savepoints helped a lot though, and I think the crashes were just efpse being efpse. They seemed related to the audio (new alpha maybe?), because my audio would glitch out for a few seconds before the crash.
Other than that though, I really liked it! Nice job :)
pretty sure its cause of the audio alpha, it caused a lot of problems during dev and im hoping the next alpha fixes it.
I almost didn't play this game since it required me to tweak the .ini just to fit to my screen! Art is 11 points, excellent work in the enemy design and UI! I got lost in the map a lot of times! Absolutely hated the random weapon damage, some time enemies take 3 shots sometimes 6, at the end I was rushing past them since I couldn't tell if the fight would last 3 sec or 3 min lol also with the spikes there's this potential rage game here too but I had fun with that XD dying in stupid ways it's kinda fun, boss had some clever mechanics that I couldn't figure how was it made (I didn't know npcs could jump?) :o very nice and also the upgrade system is very clever!
This was absolutely well put together and seriously impressive — that’s some high-quality work! From the map layout to the light RPG mechanics and player upgrades, everything felt solid. The weapons and combat are smooth, the art is beautifully done, and I had a lot of fun playing for around 20 minutes or so. I did start getting stuck on the platforming near the top lol, but overall it’s a beautifully made game with innovative mechanics. Awesome job!
this is my favorite game of the jam. so much character and charm. hope to see this expanded into a full game down the road!
This game is great reminds me of spyro ratchet and clank and those classic 3d platformers however i don't really only having one gun and not even a melee weapon. although this game is a 8 out of 10. apart from only one weapon maybe the intend I think adding a melee weapon help with the enemies. great game really enjoyed it
