ROADHOUSE

interesting in concept but the lack of feedback makes what could have been an absolute gem of the jam fall flat, its hard to tell when you are actually making progress during a round as enemies do not visually or audibly show that they are taking damage, also the gambling mechanic being able to reduce reward mod really makes it feel like some rounds would be better not played cause they arent worth it. i do like the implementation of the night or day mechanic though it really feels like it just changes enemy sprites apart from werewolves being faster.

pretty sure its cause of the audio alpha, it caused a lot of problems during dev and im hoping the next alpha fixes it.

definitely one of the games of all time, hard to tell if the title screen evoking a more actual horrror tone and then everything being made in mspaint was intentional comedy or just an unfortunate consequence of the timeframe, while it could certainly be fun, the lack of tools really doesnt work for me when theres no real tension, i could see this working with a graphical overhaul but as it stands i really dont think i can say i like this one unfortunately.

really nice short atmospheric jaunt that used a very limited visual style to great effect, some of the enemies did seem a bit tanky for what you have leading to a lot of just walking backwards to deal with them but otherwise excellent.

reminds me of old seasonal flash games youd find on the kinds of flash game websites school computers allowed, very fun.

a fun romp, the lack of music was a bit jarring, but i liked the tone and the gameplay of firing into a croud of goblins definitely has its upsides in a short burst like this

fun game, love the aesthetics and atmosphere, the way it borders on existentialism, horror, and a cruelty squad adjacent what the fuck is going on, is great. I do wish that you could continue post game to try and get the pre-requisites for the other ending though as having to replay mostly the  same content feels like a bit much to see the ending I missed. other than that this was peak.

OH its just that youre getting the puzzle wrong by the sounds of it, what you're supposed to do cycle them till you have one of each in the numerical order of the amount that was on the walls from left to right.

Weird in all my testing it has worked any more info?
