I died several times but managed to escape lol
It's pretty short and simple, but it's good. I liked how the movement was very smooth. Good work!

Very short and a worthy experience. The walking controls felt very nice.

Very nice horror experience! I got it on my second try, and I'm glad I did because I was honestly scared to go back in. The first interaction with the monster was a bit funny, as I panic blasted the camera while it was just staring me down until promptly deciding I don't amuse it anymore. I do believe that the monster could be just a tiny bit more active, because on my second playthrough it left me alone for a good chunk of time. Though, you could argue it builds more tension that way. Either way, great game!

First try, I got to a dead-end and as soon as I turned around it ate me, lol. About crapped my pants.

I don’t like the controls. Do you interpolate camera with lerp function? I think is’s better to use Tweens or some kind of a more advanced procedural technique (some kind of PID controller, easy explanation here).

I also more like the idea to use WASD for movement and QE for rotation in crawler games.

But overall the game is good, it scared me!

Developer(+2)

Yeah i used lerp to move forward. but i just tried implementing tween and that makes the movement really better. Thanks a lot for your Comment !!! I will probably use tween in the future.

I got lucky with the position of the key my first time I around. I got to the exit and I was like, "huh, this isn't so scary..." So I tried it again and this time got eaten by the monster. 😬

This game had me spooked. I got snuck up on by the monster on my 1st try. Somehow I was fortunate enough to escape on my 2nd try. I think the monster could appear more often maybe...

Developer

Yeah, if you're lucky enough with the spot the key spawns in, you can finish the game without ever seeing the monster because there's no check to see if it's too far from the player. Though in my experience playtesting, I think it's fine because in an average playthrough you'll encounter it atleast once or twice even if you know the labyrinth by heart. We tried to make the monster less likely to sneak up on you by having it make a sound so that you can try to listen to it to know if it's near or not, I don't know if it's noticeable enough or not for new players though. Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
