Good art and usage of the theme but I was a bit confused with the overall plot maybe with more time you could have expanded it but I can see something cool is there :>

A pretty neat game with a good usage of the theme. Well done overall :)

I really like the idea of humanity progressing so far that they "solved" death, but that in itself is its own problem. I have always wondered about the idea of an eternal paradise -- living for eternity sounds terrifying. Eventually, you will have truly done everything. And then you'll do it again. And you'll do it in every order. And do that again. Forever. It's a terrifying prospect and the only resolve I can find is in the idea that there is a point in time that you can either wipe your mind, or cease to exist. This game really highlights that fear, and presents it in a realistic way. Really, most of us are civil people, and would go through all the regular motions to finally solve our problems, regardless of the true gravity of them.

Spectacular work, and I'd love to see more from you in the future! <3

Very fun. I love games that make me think, and this one is straight to the point. Creative dialogue and I liked how simply it related to the game jam theme. there was a missing image near the beginning i think, but thats not unexpected in a game jam so it doesnt take away from the game at all

Different take on the theme, very interesting. Nice presentation.

Now I'm having a full on existential crisis! Just kidding! Fun game! Interesting questions and responses. Seems like you've wrestled with a lot of heavy questions. Very good!

Hope you get a chance to check out my game, 9 Lives!

Each phase of the interview was intriguing, and although the last phase was a bit confusing (which I believe was the intention), I liked the dialogue and how thought-provoking the first two phases were. The art was also good and the music was quite chilling at the end. Well done!

Very unique concept that leaves me wanting to know more about this world. Really enjoyed it and hope you continue to expand it in the future!

Congrats on so many ratings!! This game was very fun! The more I learned about the world the more intrigued I became. It reminds me a bit of the Good Place, the last of the final season, but also the idea of Paradise and living forever. Death is a natural part of our life cycle, going without it definitely brings up some interesting philosophical questions.

I really like the tone you established here, and the background narrative is set up loosely enough to give me more questions than answers. This is the kind of writing that really excels at making you want to learn more about the setting, and I do! Not only that, but the questions themselves were thought provoking, and the art helped set the mysterious tone. I really liked the responses to your answers especially. Very unique work, and a very strong submission - I think this is a great twist on the theme!

I want to leave a rating but... you're at 69 ratings at the time of this...

Nah just kidding, I went and left one obviously. Good game overall! Some of the questions I answered in a second but others I actually stopped and thought about. I'm not sure if it's possible to get denied your application or if I just blindly stumbled into getting approved, but hey I'll take the offer xD

Super fascinating narrative and I love the way the interviewer gets darker and far more philosophical over time. I was never quite sure what the opportunity in death was though? Just the escape? From life? From job? Am uncertain. Also, I was successful, but it didn't seem like I was appeasing the interviewer that much. Regardless, I did enjoy my time with this. The way the art alone devolved as the game went on was super unique!

Oh, but one look was missing, like a side-eye jpg. Just a heads up!

Whoooooa. This wasn't what I expected when I loaded it up! It's a unique take on death and the world-building is interesting - it makes me wonder what else the game's universe has to offer 👀 intrigued to see the full version 😊
