Not rating this as didn't find my mouse< and the game really wasn't playable on a track pad so it would be unfair for me to judge it... but I do intend to come back if I ever dig my mouse out,,, what little saw looked beautiful a fantastic look to it... sorry I didn't to play it properly but looking forward to based on what I saw.

The game looks really good. I didn't manage to get too far and ran into a few bugs with my first weapon dissapearing from the character's hands (so no more attacking). Also, I think you left some debug toggle on because pressing C (which is suggested for attacks) toggles the textures and light shapes on and off :).

Ah indeed I forgot to restrict the collision view to the debug build! I will fix that, thanks for letting me know :)

But it's normal for the weapon to only appear while you attack. Are you sure you're unable to attack? :o

I will double-check but it seemed afterI was hit by the gear enemies that dash towards me, I couldn't hit them back anymore

I was so happy to see a 3d entry from you! I’m not quite finished, I’m only missing one ability, but only have 2 armor pieces. After defeating G*** II (trying to not spoil, just in case), I was able to light 1 candle, but I’m not sure why, but it certainly implies there are several more bosses.

One “bug” I found is that you can get the cold robe by dropping from above prior to the requisite skill, but then you can’t get out. Not terrible since you retain items, but I wanted to note it.

Initially I was a little worried on how tight the space was, and I still think it could be a bit more open at the start, but the actual levels have felt pretty good. I’m really happy with the grapple, that mechanic often doesn’t land right, esp in a jam, but it works flawlessly.

I like how you tied player abilities to the enemies and made the abilities meaningful during the boss fights (I’ve done 3). I also appreciate the clear tick-tock of the save points. I think you really captured the fun and charm of the older 3d adventure games, great work!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I agree the the first few rooms feel a bit cramped compared to the others, as they were made before I figured out the metrics.

I'm afraid there aren't any more bosses, but the ending is a bit of a puzzle that requires further exploration to solve ;)

This is a really good entry; playing a sentient 3D platformer is quite an experience. The movement feels very good and natural. Environment, animation, and character design were on point. The map. The design was very good, too.

I have a few points:

  • I'd like the camera to be able to look up and down more.
  • The light can be adjust where the Item is, sometime I can't see because it's to bright.
  • The combat is definitely the weaker point of the game. Enemies are basic and just annoy you without offering any reward for killing them. The boss's attack was quick and caught me off guard the first time.
  • The crates give you nothing, I think.
  • I don't know where to go after meeting the Time God.

The game would be nice if it had a shop system, though.

Again, congratulations on finishing the game.
