I am not a fan of rage games, but I gave this a couple hones tries. Got halfway up the pink block section. the controls are not very precise for a game that requires precise platforming and punishes any mistake with starting from the bottom, especially with hos slidey the cat is. Maybe that's how rage game are supposed to be, i don't know, but didn't feel great to play.
ok sorry that you didn't enjoy it thank you for playing my game and for feedback
I could not get past the second jump, and I tried for roughly five minutes. So I’m just going to give some advice instead of commenting much on the actual game.
My best advice is to play the good platformers out there as well as the good rage games. They always make it so you feel like it’s your fault you messed up, not the game’s fault.
That means generally:
As for other feedback: The cat was cute and the ground sprite was decent. The rest could use some work, and your game page should use a different and larger font. It’s difficult to read. Getting stuck on the walls was not something I enjoyed, not was the slippery player controller in a precision jumping game. The main menu looked good and I enjoyed the aspect ratio not being 16:9. It fits the pixel art style.
I like thinking of games as the same as good user interface design, you want to reduce the mental friction as much as possible anywhere it’s not an intended part of the design (in 99% of cases you want less friction).
thanks for the feedback all of the sprites were from the flowlab library the only sprite i made was the button on the main menu (im not good at pixel art only 2d high res but not animating) and the player movement was supposed to be hard and i will be using your feedback for cats & kings 2 Thank you for playing my game
It's not related to the theme at all... Pretty cool platformer tho
oh the ending is little related but i did not just have time that's on me because my stupid started making a retro fps from scratch like doom but it would have taken much longer so did this in only 2 days but still thank you for playing my little game

Fun game! Going to come back to it and see how far I can go. Some pretty tricky platforming even at the beginning, but the dev does warn you at the start.
oh i should have done that well thank you for playing my game i think the ending area is pretty cool
