How does your game fit the theme?
You can't go too high or too low, otherwise you respawn.

9 days sound like a lot, but one blink later those 9 days suddenly turn into 2 days. Always fear scope creep.

This was cool, but you underestimate my geometry dash skills. jk lol, that red pentagon took me out. I think the background effects were really nice, and the controls were smooth, although there could be more friction/ drag to keep me sane. I appreciate that one checkpoint, but if i roll down a pentagon one more time imma crash out. Lmao, Gg
Even though the art was quite simple I think it was very effective, especially with the cool background. I think the gameplay would be more fun if the controls were a bit more responsive. Right now it feels pretty floaty. Otherwise, nice job getting this done in 2 days!
The game is quite simple, but surprisingly a lot of fun! As you stated, you made it in 2 days but I think some time could have been spend in making the boundaries for the height you are allowed to be in. Mainly because that's the way your game applies to the theme, and it feels missing without actually being able to see the border. A checkpoint indication or visual would also have been a great / simple addition.
For a game that is mostly white, I actually really like the visuals, especially the vibrant background. It complements the much simpler colors in front quite well, and am actually really curious how you made this.
The gameplay also feels decently smooth!
This gotta be a rage game. I cannot get past the red pentagon and the 3 mini pentagon begore it. :')
However I see the concept is nice and thankfully there is save point. Also I think the jump does not response sometimes after landing. Nice work, just add sounds and music and it will be less frustrating lol.
I'm very sorry for putting you through that :')
It's okay. I don't mean it negatively. More like funny fails that can make me rage quit. ๐
Incredible
Simple and effective gameplay within the theme. Knowing you had 2 days, that's a skill that reveals that you know how to scope it and do with what you have in hands.
The way you use the rotated pentagons to be part of the level design is smart.
I had more ideas planned for the game but time catches up quickly haha.
Prioritizing your tasks is really helpful!
This is quite good for a two-day effort. Sloped platforms is an interesting departure from a more traditional platformer.
The upside down ones keep getting me and now my hands are cramping! ^^ Simple, but love it!
Thank you, and I hope your hands are doing better now!
this game destroyed my self-esteem, but it's fun
A nice little entry, I like the way the player controller feels - building up momentum on the slopes is a cool idea, and rotating platforms can be really tricky so props for including that! I didn't really find the theme implementation, but you've really nailed the limited shapes aesthetic and I love it. The pentagons in the background add so much to the style! I just wish the player/platforms weren't solid white, it is a little too bright imo. You can use something like https://mycolor.space to get colours that match well with a palette :)
Thanks for playing! I agree that the theme could be more present here. The ball used to be more bouncier and faster than it is now, which could bounce you above the camera and kill you, but it made the controls feel too slippery and unpredictable. That took the threat of going too high with it too, unfortunately.
And that website looks really useful - thank you for recommending it!
