How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme because you literally risk your biscuits, and even your soul, at the devil’s blackjack table. Every hand you play is a gamble, and drawing special cards can turn the odds against you, making every choice a tense and risky moment. It’s all about taking chances for your rewards… or losing them entirely.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used a menu system asset that I had made previously, but all the in-game code and assets were created from scratch during the jam.

The best of the blackjack games I have rated so far. Strong theming.
Hey I loved the vibe that the art and the music created and I loved the additional cards. The only thing I could think of to change is that the special cards could use a little hover explanation. Other than that great game!
Liked the ambiance!
As a casual gambler, I enjoyed myself. The special cards were a nice touch to a traditional game, I especially liked the card that showed the top card on the deck. Not sure if there's a point of 'winning' but I'd like to think there is.
Thank you for the feedback. Regarding the idea of "winning," I feel the game lacks a clear objective or incentive to keep playing. I didn’t have much time to work on the project, so I mainly focused on polishing it, and even then, I wasn’t able to fix all the issues that came up during production. I’m happy with the result, but I wish the game had a clear end goal. In its current state, it’s just about playing endlessly or until you run out of cookies.
